Good Router, easy to hook up, worth the investment for the right price.

Summary: Worked like a champ, right from the box. Removed my old router and DSL Cables and put this in its place. Used the same ID name for the wireless network, and it worked perfect when i started my pc back up. ****It does take a bit longer to start up my connection though when starting the pc.
Summary: Works well but a bit daunting to set up, even with the disk. A myriad of arcane, geekspeak, settings. Disk for Windows only. Helpline actually very good. Very strong signal, much better than my previous setup. Get wifi inside my car in the driveway!
Summary: I purchased this modem router to replace a separate DSL modem and b/g router. It's nice having everything in one box with only one wall-wart to plug in. The addition of a gigabit router and N wireless allows me to transfer files between my computers much faster than with my old setup.
Summary: Great router and modem. VOIP is limited because it lacks PSTN passthrough, so you have to forward your old landline number if you want to keep it live. The passthrough is a simple feature and found on previous NetGear modems with VOIP, so it's annoying that it's missing.
Summary: Worked with the minimum of setup. Wifi signal / speed is much improved over my previous Netgear DG834. The gigabit ethernet ports also speed up the home network greatly. Most importantly, I've been using it now for over a month with no wifi dropouts or breaks in Internet connection, and only...
Summary: This is an upgrade to my BT home hub 3 that I needed for fast NAS connection (gigabit port). After some initial pain setting it up (call to Netgear was needed), it has worked perfectly. Netgear tech support was very impressive and a great help. Range is much, much better than my BT HH3 router.
Great little product- simple config change solves connection problems

Summary: I've found this product has a great wireless range with the interior antenna and in my case removed the need for access points locally. It's v. easy to use/configure. Most of the negative comments in these reviews seem to revolve around this router not holding an IP connection.
Summary: I bought one of these to replace my BE router (a Thomson) as I needed something with gigabit support. I've had a Netgear ADSL router before many years before I was a little surprised to see the admin interface has changed very little.
Summary: At first this router was unstable and needed reset daily due to wifi or internet connection issues but after a week or 2 it finally stabilised and has worked fine since. I only bought this model as I required compatibility with O2 broadband and ADSL2+.
