Summary: I was looking for this perticular D-link modem as it's exactly the same that DSL extreme ( ISP ) sent me for my connection and as I was setting up a friend to use the same ISP for her internet connection it was a shoo-in. Good price on E-Bay and worked perfectly the first time as it's easy to set up.
Summary: I bought this modem to switch from Bell to another ISP because Bell will rise the overdownload price from 30$/month max to 60$/month max. I'm still on Bell connection but with the DSL-2320B on bridge mode. I saw more stability with the internet. It is the best way the get out of those giga money eater Bell/Videotron and go with local ISP with price that are insanely competitive to those big corps. Go world! Shop for your local ISP and buy modem like the DSL-2320B!
"Easy Installation with the correct configuration info"
1 March 2010
Pros: Nice low-profile package for a simple DSL Modem. Easy setup CD based web installation that works for both Mac and Windows users and a variety of ISPs. Setup guides were clearly written and easy to follow.
Cons: Only supports 100 Mbit Ethernet connection (sufficient for today's highest speed ADSL connections) Automatic setup didn't scan for Qwest VPI/VCI combination, so had to call Qwest tech support.
