Excerpt: Introduction Bejewelled 2 for the iPhone was one of the first game apps I bought and downloaded, I play the 'Blitz' version of the game on Facebook and used to extensively play the full PC version of the game on my home computer. This version is an official PopCap release and has 4 versions of the game in this download and remains one of the most played games I have on my iPhone.
Pros: Addictive, Fun, Easy to Play, Can compete against friends, Cheap
Cons: Needs an active internet connection to play the Blitz variation
Excerpt: If you like any PopCap title, whether it’s Zuma, Peggle or Insaniquarium, you’re bound to love Bejeweled 2, the sequel to the award-winning 2001 game. It’s has a much more modern look than its predecessor, and has some new game modes. Since the release in 2004, it has come out on multiple platforms including PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. But if you have any portable Apple machine, you have an advantage. Why?
Pros: Simple but addictive - style gameplay; excellent graphics; offers great value for money .
Cons: No Puzzle mode; lack of varied music; very, very addictive !
Excerpt: What is it ? Bejeweled 2 is a single player puzzle game. How do I play ? The idea of Bejeweled 2 is to vertically or horizontally line three or more gems together by swapping one gem with another. Once the gems are lined they vanish creating space for new gems to fall into from the top of the screen. To proceed to the next level you must build your green bar at the bottom of the screen until it is full, represented by points.
Pros: Good game to play if your have five minutes to spare .
Cons: A repetative game that may become boring to some .
Summary: A great port of the pop-cap classic. Sharp graphics and responsive controls (using the joystick on my sony ericsson k800i). Sound is good too and even includes the odd snippet of sampled speech. Highly recommended.
