Excerpt: I decided to buy the Sunbeam Heritage Series Mixer since my KitchenAid mixer is getting way too heavy for me too lift since I had surgery. KitchenAid Mixers weight a ton so when I needed to get one that was lighter in weight I chose the Sunbeam since it was lighter and is a quality name that has...
Excerpt: This is by far the best stand mixer I've owned! I do a LOT of baking and this Sunbeam Heritage Series Dual Motor Stand Mixer makes mixing batter for cookies, cakes, muffins, etc... I can literally add my ingredients to the mixing bowl, turn it on, and walk away.

Summary: My mixer is a Sunbeam Heritage series, Legacy Edition, color black 450 watt and I was mixing frosting and one of the beaters stoped working. My Dad took it apart wich was pritty hard to do so, and found that the gears are stripped and made of cheap plastic.
The Sunbeam Hertiage Series is a great basic stand Mixer!

Excerpt: The Sunbeam Hertiage Series is a great basic stand Mixer! This machine is great for small every day uses. It isn't as a powe house of a machine and you can't use it for super thick dough or the motor really strains. I use this several times a week - making cakes, brownies, frosting, etc.
Summary: I absolutely love this mixer! It makes cooking a joy! can't say enough! If I had to find a flaw it would be that it is taller than my last mixer and so does not fit in my cupboard but that just inspires me to cook more!
Summary: I can't seem to find anything wrong with this mixer, except it was so hard to find. I couldn't find it in any major department store. The big stores push Martha Stewart and Kitchen Aid, and this mixer is so much more user friendly.
Excerpt: The Sunbeam heritage mixer is a sturdy product that is built to last. We love the speed settings and especially how it whips eggs. We use the mixer for whipping ingredients because it does a fantastic job.
Summary: I've hated my KitchenAid since my Oster gave out after many faithful years of service. I was excitied when I found out Sunbeam was now making the Oster--two beaters, turntable, room to add ingredients without having to stop the machine and raise the head. But I should have read ALL of the reviews.
Excerpt: If you really like to bake, this is not the mixer for you. If you don't really like to bake, stick with a solid handmixer. This one just isn't worth it. I find the button to make the head tilt back nearly impossible to press in. Same with removing the beaters.
Summary: I have not been happy with this mixer; the release button is difficult, the beaters leave batter unmixed in the middle of the bowl - but the end of the road for mine was finding the nut from the bottom of the beater in a cookie I had just mixed and baked.
