Summary: I have put this mixer through the wringer, so to speak, and it's still running just as great as it did on day one! I have made bread dough, pizza dough, cake, butter cream frosting, double batches of chocolate chip cookies, etc.

Summary: My mixer is a Sunbeam Heritage series, Legacy Edition, color black 450 watt and I was mixing frosting and one of the beaters stoped working. My Dad took it apart wich was pritty hard to do so, and found that the gears are stripped and made of cheap plastic. For whatever reason, Sunbeam must have decided to cut on costs and used a plastic gear to transfer power to the beater. I had my Sunbeam for two years and the plastic gear decided to break. End of mixer.
Summary: It costs a lot and doesn't work, hows that for a nice set of features? Customer service? Yeah right! Wasted my time and money? You bet! Would I ever buy another Sunbeam product? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!! Ummm, that would be no.
Summary: I absolutely love this mixer! It makes cooking a joy! can't say enough! If I had to find a flaw it would be that it is taller than my last mixer and so does not fit in my cupboard but that just inspires me to cook more!
Summary: I love my Sunbeam Heritage 450 watt stand mixer. The bowl is driven by a motor instead of the friction of the beaters as in other models, and it will mix just about anything. Good gentle slow speed for folding in flour, and excellent high speed that whips meringue in just minutes. I've had mine for a year, used many times and works just as when I go it. It is a little loud, but work creates some noise!!
Summary: For years I had a Kitchen Aid mixer. I tried to like it, but it wasn't my Mother's mixer. So, for my birthday and Mother's day this year, my husband had me order the mixer of my dreams. The Sunbeam mixer I got is exactly like the one my Mother owned and works "like a champ". I am truly enjoying baking again. The product arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. The service was exactly as anticipated. This was a good experience for me.
Summary: I was looking for a moderately priced stand mixer and ordered the Sunbeam 2346-030 Series Heritage 12-speed stand mixer, which I have used several times and have found entirely satisfatory for making cakes, particularly cheesecakes. Have yet to try making breads. It's a good product. I wish, though, that manufacturer had included information such as which type of attachment is recommended for particular tasks: e.g.
Summary: I can't seem to find anything wrong with this mixer, except it was so hard to find. I couldn't find it in any major department store. The big stores push Martha Stewart and Kitchen Aid, and this mixer is so much more user friendly. Not as heavy as Kitchen Aid, but it is all metal and well built, it seems very strong and will last a long time. It was wonderful to add ingredients and they mixed very smooth and with little effort.
Summary: This is my second Sunbeam mixer. I use mine several times per week, so it gets a real workout. This Sunbeam is physically lighter than my last unit, but seems to work well. I like it much better than KitchenAid mixers, which are so difficult to add ingredients and seem very puny when mixing. I just hope it lasts. Seems difficult to get anything to last these days.
Summary: I've hated my KitchenAid since my Oster gave out after many faithful years of service. I was excitied when I found out Sunbeam was now making the Oster--two beaters, turntable, room to add ingredients without having to stop the machine and raise the head. But I should have read ALL of the reviews. The motor that runs the beaters/dough hooks stopped after about 5 minutes of operation.
