  • Excerpt: This is by far the best stand mixer I've owned! I do a LOT of baking and this Sunbeam Heritage Series Dual Motor Stand Mixer makes mixing batter for cookies, cakes, muffins, etc... I can literally add my ingredients to the mixing bowl, turn it on, and walk away.

Sunbeam Heritage series 12 speed Stand Mixer Legacy Edition

Ivonne Vega "Ivonne", Amazon
16 March 2012
  • Summary: My mixer is a Sunbeam Heritage series, Legacy Edition, color black 450 watt and I was mixing frosting and one of the beaters stoped working. My Dad took it apart wich was pritty hard to do so, and found that the gears are stripped and made of cheap plastic.

The Sunbeam Hertiage Series is a great basic stand Mixer!

  • Excerpt: The Sunbeam Hertiage Series is a great basic stand Mixer! This machine is great for small every day uses. It isn't as a powe house of a machine and you can't use it for super thick dough or the motor really strains. I use this several times a week - making cakes, brownies, frosting, etc.

Im in love!

whats cooking, Amazon
10 September 2011
  • Summary: I absolutely love this mixer! It makes cooking a joy! can't say enough! If I had to find a flaw it would be that it is taller than my last mixer and so does not fit in my cupboard but that just inspires me to cook more!

Awesome product- great value for the price.

  • Summary: I love my Sunbeam Heritage 450 watt stand mixer. The bowl is driven by a motor instead of the friction of the beaters as in other models, and it will mix just about anything. Good gentle slow speed for folding in flour, and excellent high speed that whips meringue in just minutes.

Terrific Stand Mixer

Bridget, Amazon
24 March 2011
  • Summary: I can't seem to find anything wrong with this mixer, except it was so hard to find. I couldn't find it in any major department store. The big stores push Martha Stewart and Kitchen Aid, and this mixer is so much more user friendly.

  • Excerpt: The Sunbeam heritage mixer is a sturdy product that is built to last.  We love the speed settings and especially how it whips eggs. We use the mixer for whipping ingredients because it does a fantastic job.

Motor quit on first use.

MaryKnits, Amazon
6 December 2010
  • Summary: I've hated my KitchenAid since my Oster gave out after many faithful years of service. I was excitied when I found out Sunbeam was now making the Oster--two beaters, turntable, room to add ingredients without having to stop the machine and raise the head. But I should have read ALL of the reviews.

Unimpressive

  • Excerpt: If you really like to bake, this is not the mixer for you.  If you don't really like to bake, stick with a solid handmixer.  This one just isn't worth it.  I find the button to make the head tilt back nearly impossible to press in.  Same with removing the beaters.
