Summary: I don't understand why everyone wants one of these. It's way overpriced and not nearly as good as my mom's old Sunbeam. While adding ingredients during mixing, it throws flour and liquids all over the kitchen...and that's at low speeds!! The Sunbeam never did that.
Summary: If you do order this, make sure you are at home when it is delivered!! It's a Kitchenaid mixer box with a shipping sticker slapped onto it, not a normal brown cardboard box. UPS has a tendency to just leave things at the door, and anyone with enough guts would immediately know what's inside the box...
Pros: Newegg offered fast 3 day UPS shipping for free. This mixer normally runs upwards of $250. Motor is very powerful, and bowl is a nice size.
Cons: Not sure when Kitchenaid phased out the ceramic mixing attachments, as now they are using hollow plastic ones painted to look like metal. Not a big fan of these, but I guess the pro is that they won't break as easily as ceramic ones when dropped.
