MomR, Viewpoints

  • Excerpt: My mixer was great until I left it sitting on top of the counter that was over the dishwasher. After about 2 weeks I went back to use it and it started dripping liquified grease into my cake mix. It continued to drip for days, even after I moved it.
  • Pros: Capacity, Heavy Duty
  • Cons: Difficult to Store, Heavy, Noisy

TH, Amazon
23 January 2015
  • Summary: This is awesome. If you love baking and love the kitchen this is just your thing. The attachments are sturdy and they are easy to install and remove. The bowl is nice and deep. I also just got the kitchenaid cover for this which makes it even better.

You need the pouring spout and handle....trust me!

Mom of 2, Amazon
4 January 2015
  • Summary: Thought I didn't need to buy the next level up, but after using this one I should have spent the extra money. On my old mixer (it was probably 20 years old) the base moved and the beaters stayed stationary. With this new model the beaters move....making it very challenging to pour ingredients in.

Replaced a 17 Year Old KitchenAid Stand Mixer!

Pamela V ""MS V"", Amazon
25 November 2014
  • Summary: I just replaced my last KitchenAid stand mixer, because it broke after 17 years of use. It's amazing to me that the price hasn't changed over the years, as this basic stand mixer is priced exactly what I paid at a brick and mortar store 17 years ago.

M. Davis, Amazon
23 November 2014
  • Summary: This is my first stand mixer..Bought it 3-4 years ago and still going pretty strong. I choose this mixer because it was recommended by Cook's Illustrated. Never once had a problem.. well except this one time where the metal rod came out. The one that attached the head to the body.

  • Summary: Love it. The only problem was that when I bought it it showed mixing bowl with the handle on it. Even the pictures in book had handle on it. It looks like the extra bowl you can buy. It really would not be a problem if my hands worked better.
