Excellent Mixer

capitalcityguy, williams-sonoma.com

  • Excerpt: I've had this mixer for years. I bought it the year the cobalt blue color became available so I'm guessing it's over thirty years old. It is a work horse of a mixer and I've used it countless times. I've never had a problem with this machine. I would recommend this mixer to anyone.

Best of the Best!

  • Excerpt: I have had this mixer for over ten years. I keep in on the granite counter top and slide back and forth. When I am finished using it, I slide it back in the corner and put a cover on it. I have all of the attachments and it truly is the workhorse of my kitchen. I use it to grate cheese, make pasta, grind meat, juice citrus, make home made ice cream. I love the way the attachments can be added so quickly and are all dishwasher safe. I also like the large bowl.

Great Large Home Mixer

glueru3669, Ebay
9 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought a small KitchenAid mixer for my wife 25 years ago and it is still going strong. I needed one for my ice cream business and this was the best size and I knew I could count on the KitchenAid quality. The unit works great and the splash guard makes it easy to add ingredients. Another great thing is the accessories I bought for my wife's mixer also work on this one!

Worth the money for busy bakers

Nanaharper, Nebraska Furniture Mart

  • Excerpt: I use my mixer for everything pretty much and love the bigger motor and larger capacity bowl. Short of getting a commercial grade mixer for my home this and/or the Bosch are the next best things.
  • Pros: Capacity, Even Mixing, Heavy Duty

the next level up

OG "BDE", Amazon

  • Summary: we bought this to replace an artisan series mixer that eventually died. the larger capacity makes a difference, although it seems to me like the hook and the paddle aren't of the quality we had with the other. They work fine however, and the splash shield does it's job. keep in mind that the hook and paddle attachments from smaller mixers is not compatible with the larger one.

Large, quiet and fun to use.

mocadrum, Ebay

  • Summary: My Kitchen Aid mixer was too small to make a large recipe of my sour dough bread so I started looking and found the Pro 600 series and have been busy ever since. Love the size, quietness and just everything about this Kitchen Aid. Christmas cookies were a breeze in my larger mixer.

Great mixer, great deal

  • Summary: I bought this as a gift for my wife. She's been after me for years to get her one. I actually wound up using it and it works great. It is reconditioned, but you can't see any signs of wear on it. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a workhorse stand mixer.

Heartbroken over this mixer!!!

bjsaha6, williams-sonoma.com
22 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Just pulled out this mixer to make cookie dough for Christmas baking and it just bit the dust!! Another recent review compelled me to write this warning. I believe that the gears must be stripped. The motor has always made a loud rattling noise. I purchased this machine about 5 years ago with great promise, thinking it would help me develop a love for baking among other things that this machine is capable of doing.
