Love this mixer

ewilmax1, Amazon
15 November 2014
  • Summary: Love this mixer. I make cookies with heavy dough and have gone through several cheap mixer, blades get out of sync. This has a different kind of blade and it cuts through the dough with no problems. Plus it has lots of power. There aren't a lot of settings, but I find you don't really need them. Also comfortable in your hand. For the price it's does an awesome job. I also got the whisk blade with it and it's wonderful for liquids, whipping cream and puddings.

  • Summary: This mixer has a little too much power for my needs. Even at its lowest setting, the batter flies all over.

Great Mixer for low price

Luv my little kitty, Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: This mixer is great, it can make whipped cream extremely fast, and there are never any lumps in anything. It is powerful enough to mix cookie dough that is mostly flour, making the process of baking Toll house cookies fast and easy, without making my arm ache from hand mixing. I know a few people complained about not having a low enough speed, and I guess it's possible I may run into that, but I've had it over 6 months, and have never had that problem yet.

Lots of power

Michelina, Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: I am an avid cook and adore my KitchenAid stand mixer and thought I'd never need a hand mixer again. Not so, I find myself pulling this little baby out often. It's got the guts to whip cookie dough to a froth. Light enough to avoid fatigue but not flimsy feeling and small enough to store in a drawer. Cleanup is quick and easy, no center stem poles to scrape. The power can be overwhelming even on low.

No Low Speed

Kara E., Amazon
25 January 2014
  • Summary: The lowest speed feels more like a medium. I wouldn't even bother using the highest speed. Also, the cord isn't very long. Even if it reaches a few feet away from the outlet, the cord gets too taut, and so you can't work too far from the outlet. The plastic tie around the cord is actually reusable, so don't cut it and throw away. Other than these problems, it's easy to handle and fits nicely in my hands. The simple design matches well with my kitchen.

  • Summary: The attachments don't fit into the hand mixer. I tried switching their places, and the attachments just fall out. Had to return.

Great price, not great performance

E. Lewis, Amazon
29 October 2013
  • Summary: The price was good, so I bought it, but the low setting is too violent. It definitely does the job, but is not good for gentle mixing.
