Summary: Love this mixer. I make cookies with heavy dough and have gone through several cheap mixer, blades get out of sync. This has a different kind of blade and it cuts through the dough with no problems. Plus it has lots of power. There aren't a lot of settings, but I find you don't really need them. Also comfortable in your hand. For the price it's does an awesome job. I also got the whisk blade with it and it's wonderful for liquids, whipping cream and puddings.
Summary: I am an avid cook and adore my KitchenAid stand mixer and thought I'd never need a hand mixer again. Not so, I find myself pulling this little baby out often. It's got the guts to whip cookie dough to a froth. Light enough to avoid fatigue but not flimsy feeling and small enough to store in a drawer. Cleanup is quick and easy, no center stem poles to scrape. The power can be overwhelming even on low.
Summary: The lowest speed feels more like a medium. I wouldn't even bother using the highest speed. Also, the cord isn't very long. Even if it reaches a few feet away from the outlet, the cord gets too taut, and so you can't work too far from the outlet. The plastic tie around the cord is actually reusable, so don't cut it and throw away. Other than these problems, it's easy to handle and fits nicely in my hands. The simple design matches well with my kitchen.
