Summary: We love this mixer. With the whip blades it makes whipped cream in less than a minute. It has plenty of power for the heavier mixing with the regular blades. I haven't tried the bowl scraper yet.
Summary: This little thing beats egg whites into stiff peaks within seconds! it truly is a workhorse but my only complaint is its lowest setting is still very fast. If you want to quickly mix your dry ingredients i would reach for a whisk instead of trying the low setting...
Summary: This mixer is more powerful than my previous Black & Decker so it took a little adjustment. It works very well even in thick cookie batter so it will be usable in more instances. two sets of beaters is nice. Ejection is not easy. After six months of use there have been several instances where I would have liked a less powerful beater. I would look for something with a lower speed adjustment in the future.
Summary: I owned a previous Black & Decker hand mixer for close to 20 years, until the drive gears and the motor finally gave up the ghost. I searched and searched for a suitable replacement, until I finally looped back to the Black & Decker brand. This mixer can be a little pricey, but I did finally find it on an obscure supplier via Amazon at what seemed like an eminently fair amount. Purchasing this hand mixer was just like renewing an old familiar friendship.
