Summary: I gave this stereo a 4 because unlike it's predecessor it doesn't have a cassette player. I would have bought the newer version but it didn't have a 5-disc changer. I had an older version of this model and I wore it out but it lasted me 13 years . My hope is this one will last that long as well.
Summary: its really heavy but gives a nice base sound and i like the surround sound function and the fact you can hook up so many other devices.but i would not really call it a shelf unit, more like a home entertainment unit.
Summary: This is listed as a mini shelf system, and it's indeed large enough that it makes any shelf seem mini! When it arived. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to fit it into my car. I got it home and the packing material was crushed and there was a dent in the side, requiring me to loosen some screws...
Summary: I like everything about my stereo except the fact that you call it a shelf unit I don't what shelf your putting it on but this thing is hugh and wts. 85lbs. are you kidding, other then that it's great.
Summary: I was really looking forward to getting this system, and I wasn't disappointed when I got it. It is pretty much what I expected. The sound and the functionality are great for its class, and price.
Summary: Easy to set up. The sound is great. More fatures that I prob need. Suits my purposes. Way bigger that I expected & heavy. Too big for the shelf I had planned to use. Only negative is that you can hear the disk player spinning.
Summary: I cranked up the the shelf system and was immediately impressed with the sound quality. That is, after I fiddled with the buttons and controls for a while, somewhat frustrated, until I determined it was time to read the instructions.
