Summary: The sound is just amazing for a unit it's size.the highs, mids, and lows are definitely well balanced. This unit can reach concert hall level sound depending on room size and acoustics. As for the one person who says that it does not read mp3 cd's. It does. The book does say that it depends on how ite was recorded which is commonplace with any cd. And to the one person that said that there are no bass and treble controls. You don't need them.
Summary: I recently purchased one of these systems from a Marketplace seller, EZCORP. It was advertised as being in good condition with signs of normal use, with the remote & power cord included. When it arrived I unboxed it with great anticipation; the only signs of wear were a little bit of dust, and the antenna was bent a bit on the very tip.
Summary: I bought the original WaveSystem with the multi-changer some years ago and enjoy it daily. It is in my bedroom where I play it in the evening and even though there are some critics who say it doesn't sound all that great on very low, I must disagree. After 10pm I usually bring the volume down to about 7 or 8, and it's still clear as a bell.
Summary: It is very hard to find honest reviews of Bose stuff; there's just so much hate mixed in and it's impossible to tell what's real. I never thought of myself in the Bose target audience. I have 4 component stereos in the house, all of them much more costly than this little stereo. I own some very high end stuff; headphones that cost over $1,000 and so forth. But I wanted to replace the component system in the bedroom with something smaller.
Summary: i purchased this radio for music in the master bath. it sounds wonderful and is very simple to use. i opted for the model with a cd player so my wife could listen to her prefered music while getting ready for the day. the remote is really easy to use and it keeps wet fingers off the radio itself for added safety. outstanding sound from a little box on the counter.
Summary: A very well made unit that performs as well as they advertise. The 3 CD changer accessory unit works beautifuly with it. An expensive unit but you get what you pay for. If you can afford it you will love it.
Summary: I bought my Acoustic Wave Music System way back in 2000. Still using it now with no problem. Still brings out the great sound you expect from a system this expensive. For the money I paid for this, you could have assembled your own awesome sound system with a little bit to spare but I crave for simplicity. I hate a lot of dangling, complicated wires trying to figure which one is which. The Bose system is simplicity in itself. It plays right out of the box.
