Summary: This machine is nice and has good sound, But what I don't like about it is that it is all electronic. Without the remote it is dead in the water. There are no manual buttons. I think for the price Bose should be able to provide this machine with manual controls.along with the remote.
Summary: You just can't beat the sound of a Bose! I have an older one that I like better because you can tune into a station better, but play a CD and wow! I did buy the antennae but it really didn't help much.
Summary: I'm happy with my purchase. I bought this for our small living room that did not have the space for a full sound system. If fills the room fine. I don't think it sounds as good as a full featured set of speakers and receiver, but I expected that coming in. Overall, I'm glad I own it.
Summary: The unit was delivered in record time as was stated. The product was easy to hook up and begin using. We are disappointed with the FM as we get static from relatively local stations even with stretching out the cord. I think it would be much better to have something in the unit that would offset the static as when you stant close to it or hold it the reception is great, but once you walk away it seems to lose the station and the static comes back. The AM is great.
Summary: The sound is nice, as one would expect from a Bose product, but I was quite surprised that there is no way to turn the unit on/off or adjust time or station tuning without the rather small remote control. The main unit has no control knobs or buttons whatsoever. Lose the credit card size remote, and you are sunk.
Summary: I must say I expected better quality sound, but I am accustomed to my sony surround sound vrs. a single unit. This is an excellent clock radio, with deep bass sound and clear tone. It is definately not worth 500.00. If I was to put a price on this item, to be fair..., it is worth 275.00. It doesn't have an outlet for speakers, nor does it have the power. The sound is nice but only for a smaller area 15 X 15 or so.
