Summary: ANNOYING ELECTRONIC SOUND: This was my first upscale stereo. When I first got it, I was impressed by the improved sound quality from my previous cheapy units. I do, occasionally, sit and just listen to music, but often, like most people, I do dishes, cook, read, etc.
Summary: I ordered this item over the holidays and I got it within a week, which was nice, even though not necessary in this case. The item was described as in very good condition, as it was used. Unfortunately this was by far not the case.
Summary: There is no comparison between my old stereo and the Bose. I hooked both of them up in the same room, then threw the jvc away. Quality product and great service from the seller. 2/16/14 I guess I misjudged this product.
Summary: I have purchased three Bose Wave Systems and two Multi-CD Changers. The Bose sound and size are excellent. However, the CD player laser system and the Multi-CD Changers perform poorly. All Multi-CD Changers have malfunctioned within eighteen (18) months.
Summary: I too bought both the Wave Radio and the Changer. Bose knows a lot about sound and the Wave Radio is terrific. They should never have tried to get into the changer business. I have had countless problems with CD getting caught in the changer, CDs that would not eject, and more.
Summary: I've had my Bose for about 3 years. The sound does not live up to the hype. There is no way to adjust bass and treble--you get what you get, period. I like to choose specific songs on CDs to play and after doing this several times, the unit just decides it won't play that song anymore.
Summary: Bose is over priced, over marketed AND average at best. Why do you NEVER see Bose reviewed in any decent audiophile/hifi magazine? Because the mags get sued by Bose for "defamation", which is basically truthfully reviewing their products.
Summary: My wife and I recently had an opportunity to try this table top radio / CD player in a Bose showroom. Very unimpressive sound, certainly nowhere near the $500 price tag. Poor bass, all plastic construction. This unit is worth about $200 retail.
Summary: Although I liked the Bose CD unit, I really felt that the sound was a slight step up from other music units; If I am going to pay top dollar for a cd player, it better give me than it does; this unit would be better value for 200.00 less; it really isn't that spectacular for this money; sorry to...
Summary: it was working nicely for a few years. That seems like a long time but for 750 dollars it should last a very long time. All of a sudden this year around Feb the changer starts having a hiccup like sound like old fashioned record skipping. So I opened it up to clean out any dust that has accumulated.
