Summary: Bought this microwave 25 months ago, It worked great for just over two years. Great features and as easy to use as any other microwave. One morning everything works fine, come home from work and it doesn't heat anything. Called Whirlpool and they offered a $269 one year warrenty to cover all parts and labor. Maybe I'm asking too much, but II expect a microwave to last more than two years.
Summary: Going on my third one of these microwaves. Evey time the warranty runs out wih in a month it quits heating. Nobody will repair them because it cost more than a new one. Manufacturer wont help out either.
Summary: Not a bad unit, but many of the features are difficult to set/use. It relies on a number menu, and our last unit had a touch screen. I'll never buy another unit without a touch screen. Otherwise, it performs well and is easy to clean. Just more difficult to set appropriately.
Summary: Bought this with a $ 3,500 kitchen appliance update. A month after the one year warranty it quit heating. The factory will do nothing to assist with the $ 329.00 + charge the repair people want to fix it.....not "bad" consideriing I paid $ 319 for it in October of 2010. The repair guy said mine was the third failure of the sme problem he worked on THAT DAY. WOW.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, lousy value, no mfr support
Summary: I purchased by newly built house June 2010. So this appliance was newly installed and under a one year warranty. In Feb.2011 it quit heating. The appliance repair co. came out and replaced some parts, the total to repair it was $539.00, which is more than the value of the microwave new. Luckily, it was under warranty at that time. But then, 19 days after our one year warranty expired, it did it again. Not heating!!!! Having to replace it within one year..
