   Bought through a home warranty plan, so only had the web description to evaluate. Replacing a built-in, which is just a counter-top model with a ridiculously priced trim kit.

   Key features of concern were size and power. Don't know the rated size of my old Whirlpool unit, but it measures approximately 16.5 x 16.5 x 9.5 = 1.5 cubic ft. This Whirlpool wmc30516 unit claims to be 1.6 cubic ft, so I thought it was fine. However, after getting it, I discovered it is actually much smaller. It measures approximately 14.5 x 14.5 x 9.4, which is closer to 1.1 cubic ft. So it won't fit a standard 9 x 13 glass casserole dish (w/handles 15.25").

   Also, the LED is a somewhat unattractive blue, versus a standard green … (or red), which could be OK if you have blue colors in your kitchen, but it is also uncomfortably bright. On the upside, if you want a night light for your kitchen, this will do.

   Other than the gross misrepresentation of size (it does have cut-outs on 2 sides and the top that may make the volume claim technically correct, but that is not usable space and probably just makes it harder to clean), this may be a fine unit. But I will try to return it due to the size misrepresentation, which will cost me a lot (restocking fee + new unit upgrade) due to the home warranty intermediary.
