Disappointing

Chirpy, Amazon
21 January 2015
  • Summary: Considering the height of this thing, at least 14 inches before you add any breathing space, it is incredible that you cannot fit a 7 inch sachet of soup etc. upright inside it! My old microwave is lower but there is plenty of headroom in that. The turntable is extremely wobbly and if I had had tried it out much sooner I would have sent it back..

Mini marvel

Charlie Carrick "jakesdad", Amazon

  • Summary: Fits in the corner perfectly. Small inside, so dinner plates too large to turn (but they are square). Steamer function is good, but takes a while as power isn't that high. Pulling door open can make the whole thing slide, until you work out the knack of doing it. Looks different to most microwaves, so that is a very good thing. Would buy again.

problems after 11 months old now out of warranty by 2 days NOT RECOMMENDED

chrisdude, Amazon
10 January 2015
  • Summary: it started making funny bleep noises at 11 months old, but i thought nothing of it, then after cooking something, in stead of keeping it warm, it would start up again on its own and the timer set itself for another 25 minutes. if i had not been in the house to see this, I am afraid of what may have happened. I have also being doubting the heat settings as things just seem to take a lot longer to cook.

Cannot recommend. Great size and concept but not safe to ...

Miss Helen R Jacks, Amazon

  • Summary: Purchased one just over two years ago. Sparked and could have set on fire just after the year. Only used for heating up milk and chocolate for sweets, etc so not really used much as we don't microwave meals. We were offered £75 towards another one so purchased a second one. Same thing has happened sparks flying and worried will set on fire.

  • Excerpt: "we were looking for something new for our redecorated kitchen to fit in with the décor. Most microwaves are boring colours, but the Whirlpool range had some innovative colours and designs. We went for the Whirlpool MAX35/ORG Free Standing 700 Watts microwave oven in Orange. We are really pleased we went for this one.
  • Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, looks good, fits in a corner due to its shape

"Looks Great!"

Wrose, Appliances Online
21 December 2014
  • Excerpt: "A fab little microwave that uses little space in a small kitchen. However, the feet do not grip and I have had to place it on a non-slip mat to stop it moving when opening the door. It comes with a metal shelf, balancing wheel, glass turntable and a 3 piece cooking bowl. The worst feature is the instructions......confusing at least I have had this item for 2 weeks and still don't know how to use it properly.
  • Pros: Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"Perfect small microwave"

Fairymo, Appliances Online
21 December 2014
  • Excerpt: "I have limited space on my worktop for a microwave, this is an excellent size and fits neatly into a corner. It is a little smaller internally but I haven't found that a problem yet. The free steamer is a great addition and has been used frequently since its arrival. The big plus for me too is that it looks so stylish in my white high gloss kitchen and the choice of colours is very good.

  • Excerpt: "easy to use multi function microwave in use within five mins of unpacking due to easy clear instructions. fits neatly into corner due to retro shape and gives lots more worktop space. its rounded shape makes cleaning simple and the touchscreen functions mean no dirt buildup around controls. looks like an old 50's tele sitting in the corner! Great. works well, looks good, recommended.
  • Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, real talking point
