Summary: After hours of research, I settled on this Whirlpool as it was advertised as being a heavy duty above average unit. It arrived DOA! After inspecting, it did not meet my standards for a HD unit as the whole unit felt cheap. I decided I wanted a refund instead of an exchange. This is when it got special.....Oven was bought thru evVive Home Even though they offered a money back policy, they made it as difficult as possible for me to return it.
Summary: Our old microwave died after 28 years (1982 was on the back when we pulled it out). Since we had a very specific space to fill, I reviewed items first by size, then review. This microwave received excellent reviews, although all of the current microwaves seem to die within 6 months (the worse) to 6 years (no more 28 year models!). So far we are very happy with our microwave.
Summary: Purchased this microwave to replace an older one which was "built in." It works ok and does the basics of any microwave but I notice the LOUDNESS of the unit when working. Seems unnecessarily loud but acceptable otherwise.
Summary: Length:: 0:41 Mins When my Sharp finally went out, it was off to the store to buy a new one. However, when it comes to microwaves, you want to buy a good brand. And I'm sorry, but your not going to find anything of quality at your local Walmart or Target. So instead, I went with a local appliance store in my area. That's when I cam across this large Whirlpool microwave for $269.00.
Summary: This Whirlpool Gold microwave which was part of the Gold series appliances in our new house stopped working after a years use. Also the Whirlpool Gold dishwasher stopped working about a week before the microwave. Not so Gold!
