I shudder to think of all the electronic crap in our landfills these days because of cheap products ...
11 November 2014
Summary: I had this microwave for a little over a year and it stopped powering on just a few days ago. I tried several outlets but it appears this unit is now ready for the recycle heap. That is just way too short of a life for a microwave. I shudder to think of all the electronic crap in our landfills these days because of cheap products like these. I will make sure it gets properly recycled and I'm never buying Sunbeam ever again.
A capable little low power microwave, with some irritating quirks
3 November 2014
Summary: It's a low end microwave...the cheapest, highest rated one I could find at the time (when my other low end microwave died after 10+ years of service). Nothing really to beam about. It does what it is supposed to in the time expected for a low power device. But, I do have some complaints...though nothing offensive enough to warrant returning it. 1. brand new, out of the box it wobbled on my countertop. no adjustable legs to fix the issue.
Summary: IT WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED, I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BRAND "NEW" MICROWAVE ??? 1 STAR BECAUSE Sunny Harbour Records TOOK MY MONEY THRU Amazon.... AND I MAKE AMAZON GOOD MONEY TOO SMH !!!
Summary: Terribly small microwave doesn't fit most plates. Turntable is messed up and bounces around making a ton of noise during use, sometimes spills bowls. Makes weird electrical noises on top of that. Controls are meh.
Summary: This product failed right out of the box. Contacted the manufacturer and they were very understanding and sent an email with instructions to file a claim for a refund. I appreciated the support from the manufacturer which took 6 weeks for the refund, but I still was out the Sales Tax on the order and still searching where I can dispose of this product because our local disposal service will not accept microwave ovens.
Summary: This microwave is the ideal size for my needs and arrived quickly, even during the holiday rush. I don't like that it does not have a 30-second timer to be able to push just one button and to be able to add 30-second increments during cooking. That is just a personal preference of mine that is a great convenience.
Summary: I purchased this forgetting that in our previous home we had an 1100 watt machine. Took some adjustment to get the times right with a 700 watt machine. We have it now and it does what we need it to do. Worth the money.
