Summary: Extremely poor designing. The inside of the glass door has a metal screen that cannot be removed to clean the glass. Because of this, over time looking into the microwave the appearance is that the interior is dirty. Don't buy any Sharp microwave that has this feature.
Summary: After about a month of use, this 'wave has met or exceeded all my expectations. The 30 sec button is an improvement on the one minute time extension type, the LED display is easy to read (unlike the LCD display on my last unit), and the touch buttons respond quickly to the touch.
Summary: My mother just gave me one of these and I'm very happy with it. It's big enough to fit bowl of rice and it works well. It even reminds you that you left something inside the microwave by making those little beeping sounds every minute or so. The controls are pretty easy to figure out, too.
Summary: This is a great microwave of death. I sincerely believe that part of the assembly line is a demon-injection point where a spirited ghost is inserted into each unit. It turns on by itself, it will operate with the door open (so you don't have to stop cooking to stir!
