Summary: This is the worst microwave oven i've ever seen in my life. The stupid door has two verrrrrry looooooong bars to hook into the frame, which made it extremely difficult when taking the food out. Who the heck designed this piece of junk? has this iconic Japanese company outsourced its core design to china or some other dumb southeast asian country?
Summary: I ordered two of these microwaves (one for the kitchen and one for the wet bar) and they both sound like a lawnmower with a rattling blade is running inside the house while they are in operation. I ordered them in May and only recently moved into the house to use them for the first time this weekend. The Amazon return window has expired and the boxes were thrown away so I am stuck with them.
Summary: Bought this after having my last Sharp microwave for 22 years. Trouble from day one. Outside cabinet got very hot and within a few days the microwave did not work most of the time....as in "frozen vegetables remaining frozen" and "uncooked items remaining uncooked" not working. After one week, it started to spark occasionally (no I never put metal in a microwave). Another piece of Chinese made junk.
Summary: DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!!!!!! Let me explain, I bought one of these last fall. After a while I noticed that most everything was coming out only half cooked. When a microwave is cooking you can hear it humming. So, I timed it. It would hum for 20 seconds and then quiet for 10, and then repeat. It seemed to be stuck in a defrost mode and I had not punched defrost.
Summary: I have always had Sharp microwaves and loved them. I downsized to this one since the kids are gone. I thought I measured everything, but I now find that I can't put an 9 x 13 casserole dish in there. If the dish didn't have any handles, it would make it. So if you have the Pyrex glass ones like me, beware! Also, the numbers on the pad are somewhat hard to see if, like me, you tend to get up very early and don't want to put the light on and wake others up.
