Summary: This review refers specifically to the Sharp R-2110JW. However, it may be useful to anyone considering a "smart carousel" design. The Sharp "smart Carousel" design uses rotating magnetrons below the surface of the cooking chamber instead of rotating the food on a carousel. The rotating mechanism under the cooking chamber malfunctioned. As a result arcing occurred between the parts causing a fire and smoke.
Summary: This unit comes with very good user friendly cooking options. Also it is one of the best looking stainless steel microwave in the market today, that too without handle (which tends to break in couple of years). Besides installation difficulties it is great.
Summary: Not as even-cooking as my freestanding Panasonic Inverter turntable or Sharp turntable model. Door alignment is so-so, but no leskage and less cordles phone interference Difficult installation due to poorly bent flymsy stamped mounting bracket. Fan outlet door catches on duct adaptor, had to add 1"gap and use metal tape to offset the duct adaptor higher.
