Summary: This unit had problems right out of the box. First issue was that the convection oven would not reach the programmed temperature, and never-ever could warm to above 400 degrees. Finally Sharp admitted to a design flaw, but they offered me no compensation for their false specifications.
Summary: I purchased this oven about 17 months ago. It lived up to all of the hype and worked great. Last week it just went dead. I tried to get some help through Amazon and the supplier. Nobody responded. I paid for an online evaluation and was told it was probably the fuse or fuses.
Summary: We replaced the first after about 7 years because we had our kitchen remodeled. We drove it 250 miles to our vacation house and it continued to work another 10 years!! So of course we bought another Sharp for our remodled kitchen and this lasted about 11 years or so until the plastic control panel...
Summary: On April 18 we placed an order for the above oven. The site stated there was 5 in stock. Our shipment day was to be on the 21st. We received an email stated that the warehouse was out of stock. ( I thought they had 5 on Hand) We were to receive this order on the 25th.
Summary: I have used it 3 months now. The NOISE drives me nuts. I liked my last Sharp Microwave so I felt comfortable getting a replacement. The START Switch broke on the old one. This new one, the R1880LS microwave / convection cost a lot of $$$. But it has a lot of nice features.
