Terribly disappointing...and expensive

  • Summary: I did a remodel of my 80s kitchen and wanted to minimize counter items and keep a low profile. This microwave is under powered and lacks a turntable, so you constantly have to stir stuff. It seems to take twice as long to heat anything, compared to a GE countertop 1100 watt microwave I bought while we did the remodel.

Poorly engineered

  • Summary: Stopped working after less than two months! Has a burned electrical smell and no power to the microwave. Now I have to take time from work for probably more than one service call. Save your money and buy a GE that will be more reliable and less expensive.

love my microwave drawer oven

  • Summary: I wanted to minimize the amount of stainless in my new kitchen. So I bought this drawer oven I could hide in an island. Little did I know how well it would function. To my great surprise, the automatic cooking functions really work well. Put in a potato, push the appropriate buttons and the potato comes out perfect. It even tells me how long to let the potato stand covered after cooking!

Bad Microwave Drawer Oven - - Worse customer service

  • Summary: I have owned my Sharp Microwave Drawer Oven for approximately 4 1/2 yrs. I paid approx $950 for this product. Recently it no longer was heating the food so I made multiple attempts to call Sharp Customer Service (1 800 Be Sharp) and this proved to be an exercise in futility. After looking on-line at the reviews of this particular product (KB6525PS) and experiences with SHARP Customer Service, many of which were 1 out of 5 stars, I knew I was in for a ride.

Looks and warms great but has a problem with the door closing

  • Summary: Overall, the appearance of this item looks great! However, I just installed this and there seems to be a problem with the drawer closing properly. Essentially, when one uses the close button or attempts to close the drawer manually, it closes but then immediately reopens. I found a way around this until a service agent can come to fix it which is to hold it closed so it does not reopen. There is a little trick to it and it has to do with timing of when to hold it shut.

  • Summary: Contacted Sharp who said without an extended warranty they would only cover the magnetron. This is their most expensive microwave, it required a custom installation and they basically walked away from it with a "sorry for your trouble attitude". I also asked them to please record my last call to their service center because they never called me back even after multiple commitments over 3 prior times, said Management would meet to discuss how to handle my problem but it...
