Summary: I'm a billionaire who makes shrunken heads and demand a quality steam oven that shrinks 'em just right. I am looking for one at least 3 to 4 times more expensive. I also go into saunas and rip my towel off and put my clenched hands on my waist and yell "I Am Supersteam!" and then make loud hissing noises in peoples faces.
Summary: Well who would have thought the japanese knew what they were doing :) with this they do, still sold in Australia, Japan and Singapore as the healslo and varients of the AX1200 series, this is a discontinued model in N America. That is sad, because it does what it does very well. Your microwave is not just about raw power consumption, your oven is not just about dry baking heat.
Summary: I've had this almost a year and love it. We use it mainly to steam cook or steam convention roast vegetables (corn comes out yummy this way) or as a backup microwave (since our main microwave wasn't installed for a while we were remodeling) ... it isn't as quick as a regular microwave, but definitely does the job. I recommend just purchasing the black colored version since it can be purchased for much less.
Summary: Would have given this 5 stars if the menu system were more efficient for the microwave. I was trying to add a combo microwave, oven, and steam. Not complicated to learn. Too many steps for just a quick microwave but other than that I'm very happy with this and use it almost every day. Nice size for 2 people.

Summary: My headline says it all. This is a DIVINE steam convection oven and the price has plummeted since I bought one. They used to be $800-900. Originally, the high end German brand ones were $3000. So here is the deal. You have never had roasted chicken or roasted meat until you have cooked it in this steam convection oven. It is the best, moist, crispy on the outside delightful thing you've ever put in your mouth.
Summary: I love it. I have steamed veggies and broiled a steak. I'm eating paleo style now so it is great. Can't wait to try more recipes. The steam function is amazing and so worth the money. There is nothing comparable. The microwave is good, too.
Summary: Every rave about this oven is absolutely valid. Every complaint is due to a lack of experience in cooking with steam or a lack of understanding of the oven's operation. Truly a brilliant machine. We purchased the oven to tide us over during a renovation and have decided to make it part of our permanent kitchen. I proof and bake perfect sourdough and yeast breads in it, bake delicious salmon and reheat with ease.
Summary: A list of the things I hate about this product: 1. The software is not versatile, it could have been designed to use less buttons. 2. I previously owned a Panasonic NN-SD697S 1300 Watts. It only took me 40 secs to boil water in it. In this new unit it takes me 1 minute 30 secs. 3. You better have a good and steady table for it because it is so hard to open it. 4.
Summary: If you want to program an oven five times before it starts, then this is your oven. No shortcuts available to just start the thing at a temp and get going, Every time you have to select what kind of heating, what level, what time, then press another button. So its a lot of fun. Here's the kicker. Today the door handle ripped off. It had been loose for a while, and I thought well maybe it has a fancy flex grip, but no.
Died on first use, Sharp customer service very unhelpful, Amazon return great!

Summary: I really really wanted to have this kitchen appliance work for us, given all of the positive raving reviews. I knew about the potential blown fuse and reliability issues and have used Sharp appliances happily in the past but just in case purchased a extended warranty. The unit (very heavy and large!) arrived and I eagerly opened the package and set it up according to the instructions as I have never used Supersteam oven before.
