Summary: This is a fairly small microwave. It is slightly underpowered 700 watts, so you must input some minor extra time quite often when cooking or reheating something. Will hold a full size dinner plate easily enough. Microwave popcorn works, but sometimes the bag gets stuck due to cramped space of the oven. It still works though. Been using for a few months now I am pleased with the over all performance.
bad quality product with bad manufacturer's warranty
disappointed shopper, Amazon

Summary: I must admit that this has been my worst purchase on amazon's web site ever. it broke in less than 6 months and it too us a while to get it back repaired from a very remote service center, it worked for 2 more months and then it broke again.
Summary: I bought this microwave to replace my more than 25 yr. old Amana, that still works like new! Can only hope to get that much life out of this one. Remodeled my kitchen and this was a better fit, I just did'nt have room for my old Amana. This Sanyo is the right size, has a turntable. plenty of power, presets for cooking/warming. If you have limited space, but still want all the features, this is your microwave.
Summary: We have a small apartment with limited counter space, so we needed a compact microwave. I did my research, read a ton of reviews, sorted by customer feedback, etc. This microwave seemed like a good buy. Before buying I was concerned because I love to pop popcorn, especially munching with the hubby, family, friends and getting together on movie night. In my mind this was the deal breaker... The microwave was actually great. It heated up any food just fine.
Summary: I bought this microwave from another store last summer to use in our guest cottage. A few days ago, the unit quit heating food, etc. The light, turntable and fan still work. The unit had been used about 10-12 times since it was purchased. Most of the time, it sat, unplugged in the cottage. I contacted Sanyo and was advised that I could take it to the nearest service center, which is over 100 miles away, or I could ship it to the service center.
Summary: This looked like a good deal for $75.00. It was small (what we were looking for) and not a power hungry monster (800 watts). After seven months the cooking results became erratic (different results for heating the same item for the same time) and now the unit is unprogrammable and the light comes on and the table rotates when you shut the door, no matter what. It's still under warranty but the Sanyo service site doesn't respond when trying to locate a service center.
Summary: Rec'd this shipment as scheduled. Packaging was dinged up somewhat, but no damage to the unit. It works very well for a small kitchen with two persons. Makes great popcorn in the "popper" purchased just for corn.
