Very Disappointed in Samsung

  • Excerpt: It was great while we had it. Samsung product shelf life is very short, however. This microwave is less than three years old and we already need it repaired which costs as much as the microwave itself. I asked Samsung for a one time extended warranty and they said no. We had two Samsung refrigerators which bit the dust. I loved them but they didn't last long and at a hefty price tag, I expected them to last. Luckily we had an extended warranty through the retailer. I know Samsung is everywhere but I would not get one of their products again. Three times is a charm.

  • Cons: Outside easily dented

  • Summary: We bought this Samsung 1.8 cu ft OTR to replace a 27 yr. old Amana countertop which died.
  • Pros: Large, powerful, good vent fan, mostly intuitive controls, 10 year Magnetron warranty.
