Summary: Micro wave arrived with a "dent" on a top edge, and a bigger dent on bottom near edge, would NOT sit level. All of which make me wonder if there is "ANY" Quality Control on this item anywhere. Hugely disappointed, and now face more wasted time returning to UPS. With hope that some day I will actually get a refund on this microwave. Last One I ever buy from AMAZON.
Summary: So far, I am very pleased with this microwave. I was looking for a former brand which I've had for years, Emerson. I could not find the small size and push door that I wanted. At first I was surprised that RCA made microwaves but it came in the white color, size I needed. After adjusting to the newer buttons, everything about it has worked efficiently.
Summary: Sure, I read the other reviews but I couldn't believe that a big company like RCA would put out such a poor quality. Silly me. Mine arrived so I plugged it in right away. No lights. No beep. No display. Completely dead. Junk.
Summary: I have had the microwave for one week. Seems to work OK but makes a loud buzzing sound. After reading a review by another person with the same problem , I will not try to return the microwave since it would cost too much for shipping.
Summary: Yes, this RCA microwave oven is great for small counters and is effective for small items. Unfortunately, the glass plate does not stay on the cheap white spinner and causes a mess and makes a lot of noise. You'd think they would get the glass plate to stay on the spin device. I won't be buying another RCA microwave.
Summary: My best friend Erika ordered this microwave. She was so excited. she needed one for her dorm room at college. It finally arrived in the mail at her house, she opened it and set the time, etc... And put some popcorn in it and pressed the popcorn button, but it never popped! She was like okay whatever. The next day she put some bacon and eggs in it for breakfast, same thing. That afternoon, she put some corn and hot dogs in it and pressed 30 seconds. SAME THING!!
Summary: Purchased unit at the end of April, it is now middle of Jan. The motor is making a grinding sound. Called the customer service department which is in India. There they told me to reset the unit by holding in the start/stop button, then hit the rest. Said that would have nothing to do with it, that it was the motor.
