Summary: This microwave works wonderful. Heats fast and even. The automatic re-heat function is great to just take something out of the fridge, pop it on a plate, push one button, and walk away. No turning, stirring, or re-heating several times. Love it. Be forewarned however, this microwave is LARGE. A real commitment of counter space, but I still highly recommend it.
Summary: We had our 13 year old Panasonic Genius die (power supply) and decided to replace it with another sensor cooker since we like this so much. We first purchased a Sears (needed a quick replacement, and could not find a Panasonic in store). The Sears was not bad (better dimension, less noise) but didn't pass the 'can it cook my oatmeal?
We really enjoy using our Panasonic Genius Microwave

Summary: We really enjoy using our Panasonic Genius Microwave. It is simple to use, consistent, and its footprint just fits the space we have for a microwave. We especially appreciate the inverter feature, giving even thawing of frozen meats. A good purchase.
Summary: We had two built-ins to die in two properties, and I replaced them with this stand-alone model and stuck them in the vacant holes in the cabinets. After six months, we have had no issue; they work as expected. Power levels are more than adequate for the job. Size is adequate for our purposes (warming and cooking in medium sized, or less, baking dishes). Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Price is right. A good buy.
Summary: The unit is very deep (18" exterior) making it look huge on the counter top. Unfortunately the interior height is only 7.5 inches (from the glass plate to the "ceiling" which means some things I'm used to cooking in the microwave won't fit inside. Compared with our old Kenmore 72122 (which crapped out after 3 years) it does not heat as fast or as evenly. Also, it arrived with a big dent in the back.
Summary: Terrific microwave. Looks great and works great. The only thing I would like more than this is for the numbers to be lit as on my previous Panasonic microwave. Here's a tip: Great for warming those 14" flour tortillas to make big burritos.
Summary: replaced our other one which failed after about 5 years. My wife wasn't happy but it's essentially the same model and we have it in a Viking enclosure that limits the width. So, we needed stainless steel and 1.6 cf. max. Not a lot of choices with those specs so i just went with another one. Tried the smart reheat. took it out after the chili started popping. It was incredibly hot and the process had not stopped.
Summary: I love the ease of the buttons. I had another Panasonic microwave that I loved but we wore it out so I bought this as a replacement. The other one had a dial to set the time. I like the feel of the buttons on this instead. Its easy to clean. It is a strong microwave that cooks very quickly. I love the inverter turbo defrost. It works very well. I use it a lot as I forget to take things out to thaw ahead of time. I would buy this again.
Summary: very nice, and nice to feel that i'm cooking stuff at a higher and safer temperature now. the pre-sets work fine, by the way, warming and cooking better than my guessing. the build quality seems fine, and i think if i don't slam the door shut -- pushing in the button and softly closing the door -- that it'll last a while -- better than some people's, who've commented on them.
