Died after 5 weeks - Steer Clear of this Defective Product
11 January 2015
Summary: This product is boxed and prepared for return. A mere 5 weeks after it arrived and began to be used the unit quit and died in the midst of warming up some Chinese food for lunch. It's a brick, completely dead. None of the troubleshooting processes produced a flicker of life. Unbelievable.
Summary: I had a microwave/ convection oven, had it 15 years b4 it started to smoke. Didn't know if I'd like the Microwave/ inverter. I love the features I've used. The keep warm function works great, keeps food warm at serving temperature without do any more cooking. The automatic functions work perfectly.
Summary: Not happy with this purchase. At first, only inconvenience was that the door was hard to close. You need to really push it in to close it and half the time, you end up sliding the microwave back because of the force. Now, 6 months after purchase, it broke. Do not recommend.
Summary: DISAPOINTED IN BEING ABOUT TO SEE THE DIGITAL DISPLAY FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES. THE KEYBOARD IS VERY HARD TO SEE. THIS IS LONG & DEEP, HOWEVER NOT TALL ENOUGH FOR MOST KITCHEN BOWLS. HEATS GOOD AS WELL AS DEFROST WELL. .
Summary: We had our 13 year old Panasonic Genius die (power supply) and decided to replace it with another sensor cooker since we like this so much. We first purchased a Sears (needed a quick replacement, and could not find a Panasonic in store).
We really enjoy using our Panasonic Genius Microwave

Summary: We really enjoy using our Panasonic Genius Microwave. It is simple to use, consistent, and its footprint just fits the space we have for a microwave. We especially appreciate the inverter feature, giving even thawing of frozen meats. A good purchase.
Quality control sorely lacking--died within two months, web support also lacking

Summary: Well, it worked great...as long as it lasted. Took delivery on July 18th, and today September 1st, 2014, literally less than two months later, it just up and died. The digital display was suddenly blank and no pressing of buttons or plugging it into another (known, working) outlet could make it come...
Summary: We had two built-ins to die in two properties, and I replaced them with this stand-alone model and stuck them in the vacant holes in the cabinets. After six months, we have had no issue; they work as expected. Power levels are more than adequate for the job.
