Summary: Don't be fooled by this microwaves pretty facade, it died after three years of use. My last microwave lasted for 10 years and I ultimately gave it away. Error code is H97, which according to research requires a repair tech (guess how much that will cost + repair vs buying a new one).
Summary: Had a similar item that was rated 1300 watts. This seems to be the same thing only with a dial set rather than a key pad. I haven't noticed a preference for a dial or a keypad but I do like the blue LED display.
0-9 digits on "touch" pad take lots of force and are responses are erratic even then.

Summary: Membrane pad buttons for 0-9 took serious pressure to make work, and even then would stutter (several beeps - multiple entries) or require finding the "sweet spot" on the button to make it respond, again with serious pressure. I'm 6 ft 190 lbs and found this very difficult.
Summary: The Panasonic NN-SD681S microwave works very well so far, but it is a little too small on the inside. There is not much room left over when I insert a dinner plate. It still works well, but it is much harder to reach in and get a good grip on the hot dinner plate when you're ready to take it out.
Summary: Was afraid of the timer at first but it is actually easy---just turn the knob and the digital times appear quickly. Heats quickly. Only negative: the lighting--no light with open door and could not see anything when cooking---very dim.
