Summary: After about five years, our old Cuisinart microwave died. That seems to be within the average lifespan for microwaves in our household. Maybe bad luck, maybe it's the norm -- it certainly wasn't overuse or abuse.
Summary: We bought this Panasonic microwave about five months ago. This is the best microwave oven we've ever owned -- with the possible exception of a rather pricey Panasonic combination microwave/convection oven that my wife bought back in the '80s.

Summary: Have found the perfect medium duty microwave. In the majority of my restaurants we buy and use the heavy duty microwaves as they are running every minute of the day. But for this luxury you are going to pay $1000 or more. Yes we need them and will continue to buy them.
Will never buy another residential microwave - this one is fabulous!

Summary: Bought this to replace an old one that would no longer function reliably, only because of the door latch failing (as long as you slammed the door shut, it would engage the latch - most of the time, that is - so that the microwave could work).

Summary: Ordered it Thursday, and it was delivered Sunday. This cool looking microwave is very substantial and works in an outstanding manner. We tested heating up a teapot of cold water (necessary for a decent pot of tea).
Summary: This microwave looked like a quality product but when we put it to use, the timer did not work properly. Several times it returned to zero, but the bell did not ring. Most of the times the timer did not return to zero or start. I'm afraid this product was a disappointment.
