Seems like many of my grandchildren are moving into their own ...

Granny Pants, Amazon
  • Summary: Seems like many of my grandchildren are moving into their own apartments, and one of the necessities seems to be a microwave. I purchased the Oster and it was fantastic - perfect size and all capabilities needed. Was so pleased, I purchased a second one for the latest "mover". They are both very happy and therefore so am I. The price was right ...

Best microwave I've ever owned - for the money.

Thomas E. Camargo "tomcam73", Amazon

  • Summary: I never thought I would be giving this budget microwave five stars. I really go through microwaves and don't mind when they break after 3 or 4 years. But when my rather expensive Panasonic model broke just short of 2 years I was fed up with that brand and decided to quit paying so much for microwaves that fell short. I love this model. I don't miss the larger carousel or the huge thunk closing the door.

Nice compact microwave

Gunther, Amazon
7 November 2014
  • Summary: Nice compact microwave, with good power. I bought this with use in a mini-motorhome in mind. I wanted something compact, without sacrificing power. This passes on both of these points. None of the recipes I've tried have required changing the recommended cooking time to come out correctly. The only reason I knocked one star off the rating is because there is no ability to turn off the turntable motor.

It works great and has been handy to have in the kitchen

Karen L Sherrouse, Amazon
11 September 2014
  • Summary: It works great and has been handy to have in the kitchen. However, I would caution it is probably best suited to just warming items or making popcorn. Not enough power for properly cooking some frozen dinner items. This has only 900 watts, which is fine for most things, but 1100 watts is needed for many frozen foods. Just buy according to your needs.

Don't Get It

David Sokolow, Amazon
6 September 2014
  • Summary: Very light. Moves when open and close door. Takes longer to heat food, had a 0.9 cubic feet microwave before this one, and ready to go back to it. Very disappointed. Would love to return it.

Excellent for its size.

Joseph, Amazon
19 August 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this microwave over a year ago and it works just great. The microwave looks pretty good on the kitchen, its simple to operate, easy to clean up and the food gets heat up evenly it has plenty of powers for everything. This is a great microwave for a small kitchen. It might look odd in a huge kitchen. Our family has been more than pleased with it's performace.

100% happy with it!

Toan Do, Amazon
10 July 2014
  • Summary: Works great! It's only me who uses it and works great for my uses. Heats up quickly and does all of the usual microwave stuff. The only thing is the beeping is annoying. I can live with that, though.
