Summary: I really liked it. All the one touch buttons were simple and easy to use. 1=one minute, 2=two minutes, etc. Attractive stainless steel finish. Fairly quiet, although the beep signals were loud. Cooked fairly well. I also liked the pull handle. And then after 4 months, it started dying slowly.
Don't Buy! Super loud. Only does 30 second increments. Get something else.

Summary: Do not buy this microwave. It's engineering is a middle finger to the consumer and any kind of good taste. Here's the worst of it: *Very loud beep, and it beeps not 3 times, but 5-7. (I'd verify this right now, but my roommates are sleeping and that would enrage them.) *You can't program in a time.
Excerpt: This was purchased after my wife and myself received a gift card for our anniversary. Our older one was small and beginning to look pretty shabby, yet it still functioned well. We bought this particular unit based mostly on the size of the unit and the area we knew that we had to work with.
Summary: I bought this microwave in Dec. of 2011. its now the beginning of 2014 and it stop heating any thing up. I know microwaves don't last forever, but 2 years is way to short a time for it to stop. Needless to say, I'll be purchasing anything but a Magic Chef again. What a waste.
Summary: I received this as a Christmas gift in 2012. After about 6 months the middle row of buttons stopped working. Now after one year it is making a weird humming noise that stops if I unplug the machine. I will be getting a new microwave that is not Magic Chef!!!
Missing a couple bells & whistles, but does a good job.

Summary: I thought I was annoyed by a reminder "ding" that my food was done and waiting. Now, I find I miss it terribly, because I get busy with something else and completely forget it was there! It seems some of the functions could have been easier to perform, but for the most part, it does the job.
