Summary: I purchased this product as a gift and was embarrassed to hear that it stopped working after only 2 years. (Runs but doesn't heat.) Apparently, the magnetron can be replaced --but for $62.00! I have seen other reviews saying that the same thing happened after the same time period. I will not be purchasing any other LG products. Why can't I buy a nearly $200 product that will last for more than 2 years.--I guess it is made to break....aggravating!
Summary: This is a piece of @#$%. It worked for 10 minutes after setting up and then said "POP" and died. I expected better from LG as they make great TVs. Returned it immediately and got a Panasonic instead. This was my previous brand that lasted about 5 years. So far, so good.
Motor died within 4 months, then again after replacement

Summary: Absolute junk... Bought from brick & mortar store May 2012, by July the tray stopped rotating, I lived with that for ~8 months before I bought a new motor (Simple remove the bottom panal, replace the motor (After years of USAF electronics and working on F-4/F-16 instrumentation, I think I'm qualified to unplug a header and replace said plug, as well as 20+ years building my own PCs)) 4 months after replacing the motor, it too failed, it no longer rotates the plate And...
Summary: Funny how we can use the same product and experience so many different results. Why is that? I mean, these things are tested and tested and tested...so why so many different results after long term use? Anyway, I was happy with this microwave. I bought it 7 years ago when I moved into my house. I can't say it was used heavily but it was certainly used every day for heating up vegetables, milk, snacks (pop tarts etc). I had no problems at all.
Summary: We've used this unit for four months now. Typically used for heating, not MW cooking, and works well for the purpose. The main complaint is the audible signal at the end of the cycle; four loud beeps, and repeated every minute or so until you open the door. So if you put something in, and start something else, prepare for your microwave to demand attention every minute or so, like a toddler when you're on the phone.
Summary: I was surprised at the quality & ease of use of this microwave oven ! The sensor touch features work really well and it's big enough inside to make a large meal! The interior light goes on when you open the door making it so easy to clean. The extra features work well and the design is very well though out . I'm very happy with this purchase.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
