Summary: I searched everywhere for a microwave that would fit in the cabinet opening in my home built in the late 1990's. This one was PERFECT, and honestly, you could not tell the difference from the old one.
Summary: Item arrived on promised date in pristine condition, Installation instructions could not have been clearer. Only recommendation would be to transfer the template to a piece of cardboard. A quarter inch means a lot during these installs so rigid means more precise. This is the 6th OTR microwave install I've done so I know the ropes and trust me on the cardboard template suggestion.
Summary: i do not use the microwave much but this is perfect for what i needed. it's smaller than mose that cost around the same price and works well. i wanted a small one to fit over my over and this fit the bill. the vent is not the greatest but i'm recirculating not venting due to the type of installation. i would image that proper venting this would work just fine. the light works well.
Summary: The product comes with everything you need to install. I replaced my ge trash micro that cost me more but did not last long with this clean-looking powerful microwave. Very happy with the purchase.
Summary: From start to finish it took me 4 hours to install - with no trips to Home Depot - including cleaning up. I had all the tools and the microwave came with very clear installation instructions and templates, and screws. I chose to pull out the stove rather that work with it in my way. Doing that revealed areas around the stove that needed sweeping and washing.
Summary: I installed this myself from start to finish including running the electric. That said, overall, I think the installation was about as easy as it possibly could have been. The mounting templates could have been a bit better, but overall, for the price and the power of this microwave, it's fairly robust. Not the most stylish thing, but not an eyesore either. I'd definitely buy again.
