Summary: Smoke filled our house last night when this microwave apparently reached end of life after 1 1/2 years. We're not unduly hard on our microwave, and expected it to last a lot longer. It was functional, though the vent fan is way too loud. But we're definitely looking for a different brand to replace.
Summary: The product is incorrectly labeled as 29" in width. If you have limited space this is not for you. It measures 29.5" and states it requires a minimum of 30" in clearance. None of this is correctly stated in the product description. Difficult to return, return shipping costs 70% - 200% of product cost. I was very disappointed.
Summary: I ordered this microwave as a replacement for one that died on me. Reviews seemed good and the price was right. This model was installed where the last one was located, but is much taller then the one I previously had. Make sure you measure height carefully! That was a minor problem, but the real problem is how much noise this thing makes. It reminds me of an 80s microwave which sounded like an airplane taking off.
Summary: I replace my old hot point microwave after 12 years of use. I really liked my old one but I'm not feeling the same about this model. Several things that are different. 1). Only one light under the microwave causing uneven light distribution. 2) Timer only beeps a few times the shuts off. I have missed it a few times since it isn't that load. 3) can't use the timer and the cooking function at the same time. 4). does not heat as fast As their old microwave.
Summary: I moved after I bought this microwave and bought another one for my new house. The microwave does a great job while being reasonably priced. It has buttons for popcorn, defrost, 30 second beverage warming and a timer. When you go to install the microwave make sure you have the vent fan positioned on the top or out the back. You have to move it for out the back venting. The first microwave I lifted onto plastic cubes to get it into position by myself.
