Summary: Largest piece of junk I have ever purchased. Touch pad has finally died after less than two years, and to "replace" it is approximatley $700. The service tech even admitted that GE makes its profits off of parts, not the product.
Summary: CVM1790SSSS replaced our old Café series microwave AT NO COST (within 5 years of purchase) as part of GE's "Touchpad Replacement Program"...(Kudos to GE for doing the right thing for that): Pro's: -Touchpad completely redesigned (obviously less heat sensitive). -Inside is stainless vs.
Summary: In all seriousness... shame on you GE. I purchased this microwave a little more than a year ago. And of course it is now out of warrantee. And thus falling apart... LITERALLY! The "metal" handle is not actually metal, it is cheap plastic with metallic-looking tape on it. And the tape is peeling off.

Summary: Arrived full of dents and broken exhaust mount. Had to have GE Repair come over and send a replacement. Seller should have replaced unit but GE made it work out. Oven seems like it will be okay but GE does have their problems.
Summary: It's a microwave. It's a convection oven. it matches the rest of my GE Cafe series appliances. What more can be said? It has so many features that you'll want to read the manual, but it's pretty intuitive for simple functions.
Summary: I have been waiting decades to replace my appliances. I was so excited. We purchased the microwave to match the stove. When it was delivered we had to put off installation to have the cabinet cut to its large size.

Summary: Display didn't light up so unit wasn't usable when it first arrived. GE service was pleasant and resolved after 2nd visit. A few days later, the light under the microwave stopped working. 2 issues in less than a month doesn't bode well..
Summary: Since there is no 0 star rating, I am being generous in giving this product 1 star, mostly because of GE's terrible service. We had this (not inexpensive) microwave for a year purchased from a local dealer (not Amazon) when the keypad started to go on by itself.
