Summary: It was time to replace the microwave. This fits built in space perfectly. Works well. Has 1-button functioning 30 second time odd on. PRO - the timer signal is easier to hear than most and it's persistent so I can't miss it. CON - the cooking done signal is easier to hear than most but it never stops going off! You cannot let something sit for a couple of minutes without going back and hitting "Stop" to end the noise!
Summary: What more do you want? Take note that it is not "built-in" unless you purchase the 27 or 30-inch trim kit, depending on the width of your oven. The trim kit gives you not only a nice grill work for the front but also a tray and runners for the base. The tray also serves as an air duct for the exhaust fan. Easy installation for the average do-it-yourselfer using the good instructions that come with the trim kit.
Summary: I replaced a 25 year old Sharpe carrousel II that was build into a wall and this one fit like a glove without any modifications at all, so far it works perfectly and it looks better than the old one
Summary: We use our microwave to heat up leftovers and defrost stuff. It works well for our needs. It is easy to use and heats food quickly with very little noise. A nice unit all in all and no complaints.
Summary: Good looking MW, except the trim kit is made of plastic that doesn't quite give you the look of stainless steel, and the price is misleading, gives you the impression that your buying metal. The trim kit actually comes from ELECTROLUX.
Summary: This is by far the least expensive "built-in" microwave I could find to replace our 20+ year old one. I did NOT want to spend $800 to pop popcorn and reheat leftovers (which is our normal use). I have used 3 other microwaves at home and office over the years. This one is more powerful than any of those 3. It takes about 2/3 of the time of the previous built-in. It is GREAT at popping popcorn!
Summary: We purchased this along with the oven and installed both in the wall. Loving it!! If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the beeping goes on too long and is too loud. However, instructions told how to turn it off so that is what we did.
