Summary: Ours is (was) a nice shiny Stainless steel 1200 Watt top of the line Electrolux Microwave built in with fan vented to the outside. We bought it along with a top of the line Electrolux ($1200) Dishwasher and a $2600 dual fuel Electrolux Gas/Electric range. We bought them from RC Willey in Orem, Utah on the advise of the salesman that we were getting the very best and top quality of anything out there.
Summary: This is the second unit we've had in 8 months and it still doesn't act right. The magnatron failed the first time now it just seems like there's a problem with the internal motor or fan. It's terrible, listen to the other reviews, I wish I had.

Summary: This is our fourth Electrolux Microwave. We updated from the previous model with the opening button on side. We went thru four of them because the plastic broke (crumbled) on each unit. We were hoping Electrolux was concerned enough with their product to correct this issue with the EI30SM55JS30. We have had this unit approximately three months and the plastic is once again beginning to break. DO NOT PURCHASE AN ELECTROLUX PRODUCT.
Summary: I have had my Electrolux over the oven Microwave for 4 years. We purchased an extended warranty. The unit stopped heating and Electrolux told our repair man the unit is not repairable. After only 4 years what a piece of crap. Now I'm worried about my 4 year old Electrolux stove! Stay away from this company!!
Summary: Looks got me! I love the glass control panel that perfectly matched glass control panel of Kenmore slide-in range. Internal walls are paper thin and it sounds like buzzsaw when it is running or sanding a large empty steel box (thin walls) with a vivrating sander. Customer service rep told me it is normal. Also, the support rack is very thin wire and three out of four supports are touching the rack and it rattles.
Summary: We purchased this microwave to match an electrolux stove and dishwasher. Right out of the box the door was defective. Fogged and fingerprints between panes of glass on door. I called Electrolux that day. The first day I purchased the microwave~ that was six weeks ago. To this day have not received a new door. Electrolux has the worst customer support I have ever encountered. One hand has no idea what the other is doing, say they are going to call back, they don't.
Summary: As soon as we bought this microwave we had to have it replaced due to an out of box failure. Two months later the microwave started making a loud vibrating noise inside while in use. We found that when we remove the grill, the noise would stop. The service rep said that came said that they will send us a new grill. I don't know if that will fix it. I just can't believe that for the exorbitant amount of money we paid that this would such junk! Don't buy Electrolux!
