Summary: Convection microwaves are all different, maybe that's why the reviews are so scattered. I purchased mine from a local Michigan appliance store and found the unit to be excellent on many measures including function, style and initial quality (we've had it a month). It's almost as fast to preheat as regular large Jenn Air oven and the settings work well to heat food.
Summary: This is possibly the worst investment that I have ever made. The first one we owned had so many problems that they gave us a new one. We were told that to replace all the defective parts would cost more than replacing the unit. So they did after a lot of hassle. The replacement was no better. The convection oven would not heat to over 200 degrees. We can't even cook frozen French fries. With both ovens we have had problems with the warranty department.
Summary: large capacity, with wider turntable than my old one. 1050w output, cooks faster, and comes with turntable stacking racks, as well as extra fixed shelf. No sensors! Has preprogrammed cooking buttons, but doesn't work from sensors. This is old school! Yes, the clock's LEDs are dim, but I have a watch and a phone that tells time, as well as an oven clock.
