Feels cheap but works great.

Gary M., Newegg

  • Summary: Bunch of my friends just got the Logitech G9x mouse. It's quality looks better and seems better, its got more customization, and it's got adjustable parts. It's an amazing mouse... Except it just feels weird in the hand to me. I'd much rather use this Toshiba than the G9x.
  • Pros: -Excellent ergonomic design for medium sized hands. This mouse fits in my hand perfectly and it feels natural when I use it for hours. -Has lasted 2+ years -Very accurate -price/performance ratio -Never stopped working despite poor appearance of build quality and traveling stuffed in my backpack ...
  • Cons: -Rapid fire feature is useless. Not really a con, but it's a marketed feature and I haven't found it to be very useful. -build quality doesn't seem very good. In face it just feels super cheap. The cord isn't attached to the mouse with any kind of nice tidy piece. it just kind of goes into a hole...

Fantastic

Gary M., Newegg
16 June 2011
  • Summary: I bought this mouse because I wanted gaming performance at the lowest price. Toshiba isn't known for anything gaming, but It seems made a good choice. Performance-wise, you won't be disappointed.
  • Pros: -Lightweight, perfectly shaped to feel natural in the hand. -DPI settings of 800, 1600, and 2400. All you need for desktop or gaming use. -Has worked flawlessly for the two years I've owned it. -Low price for high performance
  • Cons: The wire isn't attached to the body of the mouse securely. This causes me to constantly worry that I'm going to rip the wire out accidentally rendering the mouse useless one of these days.

Failed Within a Year

Vince C., Newegg
18 April 2011
  • Summary: This mouse began cutting out as if you powered down the computer. I had to physically disconnect the USB and reconnect it to get the mouse working again. As time progressed, this problem got the the point of utter irritation.
  • Pros: Great mouse that worked well for a while.
  • Cons: Failed within a year. Returned it to Toshiba for warranty repair/replacement. I have not heard from them in over eight weeks. I had to purchase a different mouse just to get by...

Gets the job done

ANTHONY R., Newegg
29 April 2010
  • Summary: - The rapid fire modes are pretty much useless in modern games (like Bad Company 2), since most of them will only let you fire so fast. If you do so happen to be playing a game that requires you to click very fast, I've found that setting the rapid fire switch to blue mode is the most effective...
  • Pros: - All features work right out of the box in Windows 7 x64; no memory-hogging software required. - Sleek and sexy design (save for the back/forward buttons, which look cheap & out of place). - Has a notch-style scroll wheel, which is ideal for gaming. - Just barely the right amount weight needed. ...
  • Cons: - The clicking mechanism reminds me of early '90s mice; it's solid and LOUD. If you're into that kind of thing, then this mouse is perfect for you. I would've preferred something a bit more subtle. - DPI always resets to 800 whenever I turn on my PC or even start a game. - Two of the 3 DPI lights...
