Great mouse when it works, never works for long though.

Summary: I am now on my third mouse and it is showing signs of failing soon. Each one I have gotten has started to not track either vertically or horizontally randomly on and off. Its a gaming mouse so it is pretty frustrating when this happens during gaming. I RMA'd the first one I got through Thermaltake and they handled it ok, except my mouse didn't come for a while, instead I got an email saying they were out of black mice so they had to send me a white one (my original was...
Summary: I really liked this mouse. It felt great in my hand, had a good, grippy, rubberized feel to it, and performed well. Sadly, it lasted only 10 months. If I pick it up even the slightest bit off the mouse pad to reposition it, it shuts itself off for 10 seconds to a minute. The buttons still work, but you can't move at all.
Summary: My previous mouse was just like 18 dollars, I had it for a year and it died, which would be expected. This mouse is really cool, 500 reports per second, and up to 4000 dpi. I usually keep it on 2000 because it seems the most comfortable. This worked without the downloaded software for me I have windows 7 professional (not a fan of windows 8), I couldn't find the software on the website but I didn't need it.
Summary: Well, this mouse has cool look and the rubber coating is great plus but gaming mice has more important features like speed and comfortable. Pros: Great look Great materials good price. steady sensor. Cons: Not comfortable. Lag sometime which is a disaster in intense multiplayer matches stiff cable good for office and paint software but not a gaming mouse.
Summary: This mouse is fantasic outside of the driver issues (pickup freeze) and the worthless friction ring around the sensor. Or the terrible dust collector of doom as I call it. Easily removed thankfully. Currently trying to get the drivers to work properly so the mouse doesn't freeze when either left alone for a bit or picked up.
Summary: I do not ever review on an item, but I feel an urge to raise awareness for future buyers. I bought this mouse for roughly 3 months now. At first, it was fine for a couple of hours then it started do the crazies. If you lifted the mouse, it will stop response for a good 5-15 seconds. Even worse than that, it will stop responding once in a while when you are playing games. I didn't do a RMA because I thought it was some sort of timing out mechanism to save battery.
Summary: Bought it because it looked great. At first it had a few burps but it was acceptable because it worked great other wise. Unfortunately it only lasted a month and how convenient that the warranty lasted that long. I've already moved onto another Thermaltake mouse, its last almost 6 months now, it also has a few burps but otherwise its great as well.
