Summary: Scroll wheel worked for about a week before contact became somewhat unstable. Any time the scroll wheel is used, it is apparently semi-random whether or not and how much the mouse scrolls up or down.
Pros: - Responsive laser-guided cursor control. - Comfortable shape, extra side buttons are easier to utilize than they look
Summary: When one purchases an item for 30.00, and is extremely careful with how he/she handles sed item, it should last quite a lot longer than 5 months. I've now purchased two of these mice. My second one has only lasted me 5 months and the first only lasted 6 months.
Pros: lasted 5 months
Cons: I wish I hadn't purchased from targus. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Summary: This is a great little mouse. I bought it years ago for my desktop replacement notebook and haven't stopped using it since. It has been great to me. Its a great mouse for those of us with smaller hands without being mini. Very simple too, no extra buttons to get in the way.
Pros: Small, nice light on the back, very simple
Cons: After 5 years, the color is wearing off the side (?)
Cons: I ordered this over a year ago and within the warranty period, the retraction mechanism failed and I was sent a replacement from Targus. The replacement died just a little over the year warranty. Needless to say, I'm less than impressed with the life span of this product!
Summary: If you are like me and don't want a population of buttons all over your mouse, then buy this one because it's very solid, and feels excellent.
Pros: This mouse feels great. It requires no drivers, and doesn't have a bunch of needless buttons. It is very fast responding, and the scroll wheel has a nice feel of control to it. Buy this mouse; it's great for the price.
Cons: I took off one egg because when i first plugged it in, my mouse sensitivity went very high, but not a big problem, just a quick setting change fixes it.
Pros: Bright blue light at the base of the mouse, if you like that sort of thing.
Cons: This mouse is very picky about the tracking surface, and often will skip or shoot the pointer to an edge of the screen even when used on a plain or patterned surface. Middle button takes a bit more force to press than the other two buttons.
Summary: I recently purchased this mouse for my laptop because I was looking for a compact mouse with the side buttons. Sadly when I got the mouse there were two issues that I didn't like. The mouse was very light, almost too light for the cable that runs to the computer.
Summary: I bought this Targus USB Optical Mouse with PS/2 Adapter - Mouse - optical - 3 button(s) - wired - PS/2, USB - black. Because my reliable Logitech Mx150 optical mouse broke, and then after splashing out on a Logitech G5 laser mouse that wouldnt work on my PC power supply.
