Summary: Read all the previous reviews prior to purchase. Noted that software was required, followed all instructions. This item does not work with MacBook Pro (or at least mine). Disappointed as Targus is a brand that I had formerly found to be reliable. Almost got it to work but then it kept failing to connect via WifI - in this day and age where Wifi is used routinely I find it astonishing that accessories for tech are not made with universal connectivity for whatever OS you...
Works well with OS X 10.9, once you've downloaded the software from Targus

Summary: This is a great little presenter tool that works wonderfully once you've downloaded the device manager from the Targus website. It comes boxed with a CD for Windows, which is useless for Macs (particularly as most Macs don't come with CD drives anymore). Once you've bought it, just go to the Targus website support section and download the device management software for Presenter for Mac and you're sorted. Works wonderfully with Prezi as well as PowerPoint.
Excellent product... but needs tweaking to work properly.

Summary: I went ahead and purchased this device, even though most of the reviews online mention that it no longer works on newer Macs. It's low price meant that I could take the risk and try to sort the problems out when it arrived. Firstly, the build quality is excellent, even for someone who is used to (over engineered) Apple products, this seems very robust. In typical Mac fashion, it connected to the computers Blue Tooth first time with no need for any additional software.
Summary: I give many lectures and presentations, and have long used a bluetooth enabled mouse for this purpose. However, it proved fiddly to connect, once connected was not always reliable, and it used AAA batteries, which while light proved poor at holding charge. I saw the Targus wireless presenter, and was interested in its stated abilities, and its use of AA batteries.

Summary: This is a well made product. it feels good in the hand and generally works well with practice. I found it a bit tricky to set up and the signal is somewhat unpredictable. I bought it for my wife and her presentations. She doesn't use it. I don't think anyone who lacks confidence with computers will like this kind of remote. It's too complex and unprecitable. Who wants to get stuck in the middle of a lecture....
