Mouse prone to damages and terribe customer support!
2 December 2013
Summary: The buttons failed to response and the customer service dept for RMA has not responded since 1 week ago! This would be the last time im buying anything from Steelseries!!! After One month after sending in my faulty mouse, i still have not receive any response nor any replacement. Terrible!!!
Summary: I bought this mouse because I am a MOBA player who wanted to take his game to the next level. This mouse accomplished that for 1 year, and now I can't even play minesweeper with this piece of overpriced junk because the RMB doesn't work. I tried taking it apart in an attempt to fix it because the warranty expired a month ago and failed to see anything wrong with it.
Pros: Great Precision. Plenty of buttons. Very responsive
Cons: Right mouse button stopped working after 1 year of use.
Summary: One of the side buttons on the mouse is not recognized by Warcraft, so effectively it is really only an expensive 4-butting mouse with some fancy LEDs. I RMA'd the first one back to Steelseries because I thought it was a defect. The second mouse is exactly the same as the first. I've tried contacting Steelseries about the issue but after the RMA, they are no longer responding to my emails.
Excerpt: I put ambidextrous at cons because the right mouse buttons can be easily pressed while gaming.I had to disable mine. The sensor acceleration became a pain in the a**.It can be frustrating even at web surfing.I tried every "mouse fix" out there but the sensor acceleration can't be turned off or lowered. It has acceleration even on a hard pad (Razer Destructor) at low DPI (450,630,720,810 etc.
