I'm done with Razer, SteelSeries has officially won my business.

Douglas Stewart, Amazon

  • Summary: Lovely mouse, I got this to replace a Razer DeathAdder. I've had DeathAdders for a while, they're great mice, but while the mouse itself is good the software Razer peddles along with it is terrible. It's buggy and it has some particularly annoying behaviors if you're on a Mac.

Small Hands Failure

Michael Sileo, Amazon
  • Summary: I have to admit this is the first gaming mouse I've ever used. I've had it about 6 months and unlike the Steel Series keyboards its easy to set up and I only had to reset the colors about a dozen times before they actually stayed how I set it.

Basically New

Dawid K., Newegg
14 May 2015
  • Pros: This is a very solid mouse. I am unable to distinguish this from a new one. It came with no scratches and the lighting customization is very nice. The mouse offers a very tactile click in comparison to my $12 mouse. The rubber grooves on the side feel very ergonomic and really helps me keep a goo...
  • Cons: Came without box, the only con with this mouse.

Best fit so far

William R., Newegg
11 May 2015
  • Summary: I took off one egg for the bad finish on mouse buttons. Will update again if the situation gets worse.
  • Pros: Comfortable: bigger than some other mice and fits my hand nicely Customizable, can set two different dpi settings and have the settings be different on a per app basis, no need to constantly change it yourself. Can also change the color of the led logo on the mouse but cannot change the color of ...
  • Cons: It appears that the finish on the left and right mouse button is wearing off where my fingers go. Its either that or just the oil/dirt from my fingers is staying on there, haven't tried to clean it off yet as it doesn't really bother me. But people who care about the appearance might be disappoin...

Great mouse except side material

rsconcierge, Amazon
10 May 2015
  • Summary: Initially I was surprised at how large the mouse felt as I was used to much smaller mice, but in the end the shape feels very nice in my claw grip. The mouse sensitivity is spot on and I haven't had any issues with tracking.

User Review

Michael L., Newegg
3 May 2015
  • Summary: Overall same quality as the Razer Deathadder. Also happy with the price and shipping by newegg.
  • Pros: Grip and shape of the mouse is almost perfect for me, and the option to turn off the lights is a plus too.
  • Cons: Sensitivity(CPI) toggle is limited to 2, and the software doesn't display which setting is currently toggled.

Good Product.

Paul F., Newegg
2 May 2015
  • Summary: Someone told me that the Steel Series logo looks like one of the The Legend of Zelda logos.
  • Pros: Works well out of the box. I'm using this mouse for design and gaming and it serves both those purposes very well.
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: This thing is a smooth operator. Just make sure you get a decent mouse pad to compliment its' features. I have a small work space so I recommend the Roccat Taito 3mm. MP.
  • Pros: Smooth action. Beautiful LED selection with the drivers.
  • Cons: None at the moment.
