This is an amazing mouse. As soon as I pulled it out

Summary: This is an amazing mouse. As soon as I pulled it out, it was as simple as plug and play. The response felt so smooth and precise, once I start messing with the Steelseries Engine software, it will probably only get better. Best mouse I've ever had.
Well built product without all the new features of high end mice. Just the way I like it.

Summary: I have had owned over 20 gaming mice for my six different gaming PCs. I have spent over $200 on a single mouse with the latest bells and whistles. Two months ago I asked some of the members of my gaming clan what gaming mice do they use. One of the younger members told me about the SteelSeries and more specifically, the Rival model. For only $50 you get a very good package. If you're looking for crazy amount of DPI or the latest battery life than this is not for you.
I would say rival is a good one, but not close to Xai or Sensei

Summary: Okay, first, I am a FPS player, and I came from a steelseries sensei. I would say rival is a good one, but not close to Xai or Sensei. The new SS engine 3 doesn't allow you to change either X or Y axis sensitivity. Rival on default setting is okay on X axis, but Y axis is off. SS did not use the gold USB connector used on sensei on rival, and it overall felt cheap. If you are moving from Xai, Sensei or even razer deatheadder, dont go for this one.
Pros: I have always used Microsoft wireless mice in the past, but over the past year I got very into Counter Strike, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I love this mouse so far, it feels well built, doesn't seem to attract dirt nearly as easily as mice I've used in the past, and glides very nicely on the mousepad. The clicks and scroll wheel feel very nice and satisfying when used, and the 2 large buttons on the side are very useful.
Cons: The only con I really have about this mouse is the customization limits. In the Steeleries software you can choose a color for the mousewheel LED and the logo LED. You can choose solid color, breathing, or have a color cycle. I would love to have my mouse fade back and forth between red and white, but for the color cycle setting you can only use the 3 premade ones. A small con, and not worth taking off an egg for.
Summary: I love this mouse so much I bought 3 of them. My buddy Mikey So (meth0d) from Team 3D Counter-Strike recommended it to me. This mouse has improved my K:D drastically. I'm now pro at games and pro at life. Women tell me all the time, I love the way your mouse lights up. I just smile and nod my head.
Summary: Pros: Flawless sensor. Large size relative to other gaming mice with similar specs, good if you like to palm it. Software is pretty easy to use and I haven't noticed any bugs. Glowing lights on the mouse are pretty. Rubberized side grips feel nice. Cons: The material used on the rest of the mouse isn't very slippery, makes it hard to make small adjustments to your grip in the middle of a game of Osu! for example.
Summary: Bought this as a replacement for the legendary MS Intellimouse 3.0. While most people say this mouse is the successor to the MS 3.0, I wouldn't fully agree. Both mice have their own profiles. The weight and shape of the two are the same but that is where their similarities end. Pros: The Rival has a sharper feel to it in every sense. Cons: Setting it up for CS:GO took a bit of research in regards to the drivers/firmware.
Lives up to its name, hard for the competition to beat this.

Summary: First I'll cover the ergonomics of the mouse. keep in mind that the mouse I have is for right handed users. It is rather big, and fits palm and claw grip both fairly well. The paint is a nice mat finish and really does limit the sweatyness on the palm of your hands. It actually almost absorbs it which I haven't determined if it's good or bad for longevity yet. I have been using this mouse for about a month and so far it fits like a glove.
Summary: There is literally nothing better for CS:GO. This mouse is amazing and I've ranked up a lot using it. CS aside. This mouse is very, very good. It glides smoother than oiled oil running over oil and damn its precise. My only complaint is the colour reproduction on the back LED but I've been shown this is a 1/10,000,000 defect with my unit. If you intend on getting this product.
Summary: I have the Steelseries Sensei RAW rubberized and I prefer the coating on that more than the coating on the Rival. The ergonomics are worse and the sensor isn't as good, but the coating just feels better and side grips didn't wear down. The logo led also isn't good on the RAW...
Pros: This mouse feels great. The ergonomics fit my hand well especially in palm and semi claw grip. The coating feels decent, but it attracts dirt after extensive use, easy to clean up and feel great again! The scrolls are defined and feels good. The clicks are satisfying and also feels good. The sensor if to be top of the line with no acceleration or angle snapping at all. The only issues I have with this mouse are with the grips and the lighting... Pros: -Ergonomics for ...
Cons: The lighting is not perfect on the mouse. The plastic covering the led has a certain hue, most notably on the logo lighting zone. Some people have a pinkish hue while I have a light bluish hue. It is very obvious when you set the led set to white, which my setup uses. The next major issue is the side grips. The rubber grips on the side of the mouse wear down after a few months of daily use. I have worn it down all the way to the glossy plastic below it on the left sid...
