Summary: I consider this a very good entry point for those getting into PC gaming. The mouse is very good quality and quite responsive. The software seems easy to use and should not be too off putting for most people. The CPI switch does work even without the software.
Pros: Very low price point compared to most gaming mice, I found it for $20 CAD. Does not light up which I consider a Pro since my PC is in my bedroom. Very high quality braided cable. Mouse feels well built and very responsive.
Cons: Shape is just a simple generic arched mouse. Does not feel like much thought went into ergonomics. Slightly uncomfortable in my large hands. Would have liked a higher arch and wider base. Only the 3 main mouse buttons are available (Left/Right click, scroll wheel)
Summary: Pictures don't do it justice. It's really an attractive piece.
Pros: The size of the mouse seems perfect for people with bigger hands. I picked this up for a friend's build and he loves it. In perspective he's coming to it from a basic Dell-provided mouse from his last computer so he may be a bit biased just having a quality mouse for a change.
Cons: I don't see any. We built a new rig in an orange case so the orange mouse just seemed a perfect aesthetic touch to add. 4 eggs instead of 5 because there's nothing particularly outstanding in and of itself. For the price of it for myself I might prefer fwd/back navigation buttons.
Summary: i'm on my third mouse in roughly 1 1/2 years of moderate abuse. While certainly not the best mouse out there, it can be bought relatively cheaply and I've grown used to their feel.
Pros: Basic 3-button mouse with chiseled wheel/button. Fast-switch button for changing dpi on the fly. Configurable driver download from steelseries website. Light-weight, smooth transition Stitched cable for reduced snag and more resistant to damage. Ambidextrous design. Can be purchased relatively ch...
Cons: A mouse suited for basic use or light gaming needs, these are neither durable nor decked out with additional configurable buttons.
Summary: Other thoughts. I really could use another button for "back." I wish it had an LED or something to indicate that the PC is on. Really not a big deal, but I guess I'm used to Razers. It's a very basic mouse that works excellent. It's not feature packed, nor is it incredibly clever.
Pros: The best thing about this mouse is the senor. It is very steady and stable. The mouse is very light and ergonomic. It isn’t a big mouse, but it isn’t small either. For a medium sized hand, it works great. I bought this mouse for mostly Photoshop and Illustrator, and it handles both just fine. I d...
Cons: The software isn't included. You don't need the software to use all its features, but it's strange it wasn't included.
Pros: Mouse feet are very high quality and they have very low friction on my mousepad. The wide mouse feet make sure that weight is evenly distributed throughout most of the mouse. Laser is pretty accurate. Good build quality and very light weight.
Cons: Arched shape of mouse length wise I do not prefer. Also the side of the mouse is flat and I like having the mouse get thinner as it reaches the mouse pad. The software that comes with the mouse isn't anything special. There are only 4 dpi settings and you can't set them in between those dpi setti...
SteelSeries Kinzu, prisvärd spelmus med hög prestanda!
6 January 2013
