great value

Kyle B., Newegg
25 July 2012
  • Pros: Picked it up on sale for roughly $15. Mouse lasted me about a year and a half.
  • Cons: After a year and a half the right click is pretty unresponsive...especially when compared to the left click.

Steelseries

David Oelfke, Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: SteelSeries is well SteelSeries. Lower prediction and acceleration then my Sensei, I'd guess due to it using an optical vs as laser sensor. Tracks well, pretty small for a mouse which is fine by me.

Great Mouse - for the price

Doi, Amazon
23 June 2011
  • Summary: Great mouse for the price. Precise, light, and fits perfectly in your hand. My only problem with this mouse is that the left click has become very sensitive. If I lift the mouse up and place it back down, sometimes the left click will fire off without finger pressure.

Excellent entry-level gaming mouse

Allen B., Newegg
13 May 2011
  • Summary: RE: THE DISCONNECT ISSUE A couple other reviews mention problems along these lines, so here's my experience. During the first week or two of use the mouse would occasionally go dead for a second or so, triggering a system sound just as though it was disconnected and plugged right back in.
  • Pros: Sturdy Comfortable shape with a smooth but pleasingly non-slip finish Ability to swap between two resolution settings with a button is surprisingly useful I'd rather control everything with a cactus joystick than go back to my eight-buck bargain mouse. If you can pick this up at a sale price, don...
  • Cons: Obviously a little under-featured. It's ultimately nothing special, but if you want 'gamer' quality and can't justify blowing twice this thing's price on 'gamer' gear then this one has you covered.

Great Mouse

Rick, Amazon
18 November 2010
  • Summary: This mouse is a great mouse for me. It is smaller than mouse gaming mouse out there and it fit my hand perfectly. I have Razer mouse but it didn't feel comfortable. I guess it was to big for me. This mouse have a left click button, right click button, a scroll wheel,CPI switch button and thats all.

Kinzu 3 Buttons Mouse

Haroon B., Newegg
23 October 2010
  • Summary: I think the Kinzu should of had the capability to customize the CPI to your liking, similar to the MX518. If I could have the MX518 software with the mouse like Kinzu, (with two buttons on the side) I would of been with the same mouse for years to come, maybe they will add the option to customize...
  • Pros: The Kinzu does just as it had described which is a very smooth gameplay experience especially for shooters such as Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Battle Field 2, and others such genre. It was very easy to use and the software had no bugs that I found. Overall, I'd say this mouse is the one you sho...
  • Cons: The Kinzu has a very limited software and it does not explain how DPI is different than CPI so, people who have never heard of CPI might get confused and won't know how to use it well. The Kinzu does not have the functionality to change the CPI to whatever you like and is set in 400-800-1200-etc....

Comfotable and Responsive

Luther K., Newegg
18 October 2010
  • Summary: Overall great mouse.
  • Pros: * Reallly comfortable mouse. * Not huge. Easy to grip. not small as other reviews make it seem to be * On a good surface it is very accurate. No noticeable problem with positive accel in games. * Easy to understand software
  • Cons: * Sometimes the saved profiles will reset for some unknown reason.(I think when the computer does not shut down properly. Have to reconfigure the profiles afterwards. * The matte surface scratches easily. ( I had to find out the hard way) so be careful.

Good mouse

Brandon M., Newegg
30 June 2010
  • Pros: Matte finish feels extremely nice on the palm. Also, it looks extremely classy by leaving out "geeky" LEDs. Other cheaper, plastic mice left my hand feeling clammy after many hours of use, not so with the Kinzu. Sensitivity can be finely tuned to anything you like. I am a "claw" gripper, and I fo...
  • Cons: Every once in a while, it seems to disconnect from the computer for about three seconds, reboots, and then starts working again. This could be a huge problem if you are a competetive gamer. Again, this might be a problem with my USB port, but my old mouse did not ever do this.
