Summary: While this mouse has a great feel to it, I find that the programmable buttons do not function as advertised. I have always used Logitech products where the programmable buttons work perfectly - not that big of a deal but if you use the mouse for other then gaming, its a pain
Summary: This mouse has a lot of high tech features, which all work well, however my hand gets uncomfortable after a few hours of intense gaming. The mouse is not an ergonomic design (see Logitech mice). It is big, and it forces your 4th and 5th fingers to assume an unaturally elevated position. I went back to my old Logitech mouse, it isn't as fancy, but it is very comfy. I'm disappointed. I was really looking forward to this mouse.
Summary: Has lots of pretty lights and neat features, but you should really try this mouse in store before buying. Has adjustable dpi up to 3200...which is so fast I don't know what application it could be used for. I've gamed it up for years and anything over 1600dpi is unmanageable for me. I like the adjustable weight, and flip over teflon feet for more/less friction. The size of the mouse didn't bother me as much as the clunkiness of the buttons.
Summary: the mouse is pretty. Very pretty. Like Saitek's other stuff it is a looker. But it also has a cheap feel to the buttons and the loosness when using the wheel much like what happened when I broke my logitech. The difference? the logitech wasn't "broke" to begin with. This one has a very flimsy feel to the wheel. If you have wide hands it is a great mouse as far as handling yet if you also have only average or short fingers to those hands it ain't!
Excerpt: "I have had this mouse for 6 months and one of complaints i have is that the shiny material makes your hand feel very sweaty. Problems with this mouse is that the extremely high dpi is not really neccesary as many games don't support it, and you get really bad latency. The macroing software is not too great, and the side buttons have a really terrible feel. However, the left and right click buttons feel very responsive and it is extremely easy to change ...
Pros: Awesome DPI, On - the - fly dpi and mode change, customizable feet and weight .
Cons: Side buttons are poor, sweaty feel, quite heavy even with no weight cartridges .
