Mouse

Michael Blazey "bearlythere", Amazon
28 March 2008
  • Summary: While this mouse has a great feel to it, I find that the programmable buttons do not function as advertised. I have always used Logitech products where the programmable buttons work perfectly - not that big of a deal but if you use the mouse for other then gaming, its a pain

Saitek 3200dpi Gaming Mouse

Vincent C. Stormes "see you in the game...", Amazon
12 September 2007
  • Summary: This mouse is incredible! Being a lefty it is incredibly difficult to find a mouse that works well for me. This one does it perfectly! Additionally, the weight cartridges are very useful. My Medal of Honor game has gotten even better with this mouse.

Big game for big hands

indus49, Amazon
8 May 2007
  • Summary: As I read in other reviews, this mouse is pretty big. It works for me, because I have pretty big hands. The features are also pretty cool, like being able to switch DPI on the fly...very handy for FPS and other types of games. I agree you should "feel" a mouse before you buy, but I didn't...and I wasn't disappointed. Also..

Big and Clunky >

D. Johnson "Animal", Amazon
8 March 2007
  • Summary: Has lots of pretty lights and neat features, but you should really try this mouse in store before buying. Has adjustable dpi up to 3200...which is so fast I don't know what application it could be used for. I've gamed it up for years and anything over 1600dpi is unmanageable for me. I like the adjustable weight, and flip over teflon feet for more/less friction. The size of the mouse didn't bother me as much as the clunkiness of the buttons.

The only gaming mouse I need

esluggage, Ciao
26 August 2008
  • Excerpt: I play computer games. It's the main use for my computer, and I want every advantage that I can get from technology. As I play shooter games, I rely on having a comfortable mouse, that is accurate and points where I tell it, when I tell it. This mouse does exactly that at a reasonable cost.
  • Pros: Smart, affordable, fast
  • Cons: Bundled software not the best

accuracy and control

  • Excerpt: This is an excellent mouse. I bought it primarily because I am into gaming and as any gamer knows laser mice that are not wireless are the best for first person shooters. Laser being a lot more accurate and reliable than the alternatives the old roller ball and optical. For gaming, this mouse has exceeded my expectations increasing my accuracy in game and my control.
  • Pros: excellent shooter gaming
  • Cons: big and a bit expensive

Saitek GM3200, Fast and Effective

pfishers, Ciao
8 August 2007
  • Excerpt: I have owned this mouse for around a year now and i have had no problems with it, my experience of using this mouse for both gaming and work has been a good one. i bought this mouse to maily use for gaming because my old mouse was not suitable for gaming, although i wanted the mouse to be able to also be used for working (web design, graphics, publishing etc). After the time of using this mouse i can say that it has been a good mouse for both work and play.
  • Pros: Fast DPI, On the fly DPI, side buttons, programmable buttons
  • Cons: 3200 DPI is a little high

A average mouse with lots of features

chimpchil..., Ciao
8 June 2007
  • Excerpt: I have had this mouse for 6 months and one of complaints i have is that the shiny material makes your hand feel very sweaty. Problems with this mouse is that the extremely high dpi is not really neccesary as many games don't support it, and you get really bad latency. The macroing software is not too great, and the side buttons have a really terrible feel.
  • Pros: Awesome DPI, On - the - fly dpi and mode change, customizable feet and weight .
  • Cons: Side buttons are poor, sweaty feel, quite heavy even with no weight cartridges .

User Review

danyDARE, Ciao

  • Excerpt: Too heavy - even with all weights taken out. Buttons and wheel in wrong place (very hard to use) Responds worse than a ball mouse (cursor does not move at speed). You will play better with a 50p ball mouse than this rubbish.
