Mad Catz R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse - Albino Edition Review

mad shrimps
15 November 2011
  • Summary: Besides the interesting features taken from the "vanilla" R.A.T 7 Gaming mouse, the Albino Edition features a more powerful sensor, Mac compatibility and an interesting white color. Most of its components are adjustable, so we could spend little time to make it fit our hand as comfortable as possible.

Mad Catz Cyborg RAT-7 Laser Gaming Mouse

Benchmark Reviews
30 January 2011
  • Conclusion: Using the Cyborg R.A.T. 7 was an interesting experience. The innovation that was conjured to produce this device is tremendously impressive. However, like any product brought to our attention, the final recommendation lies with the overall impression of the product. To put it bluntly, the performance of the R.A.T. 7 leaves a lot to be desired.
  • Pros: Customisable ergonomic qualities, comfortable, Native 5600 DPI sensor, Soft matte black coating, Precision aim and thumb scroll, Programmable buttons, Replaceable grips
  • Cons: Heavy regardless of weight set up, Twin-Eye laser tracking has quirks, No frictionless-scrolling option, Small PTFE feet feel slightly clingy, Button/macro profiles are not stored on the mouse, Not suitable for left-handed users

R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse Albino Edition Review

Tech Reviews
20 September 2011
  • Excerpt: MadCatz are known for making very unique looking products but its not until you have a blast on the Cyborg R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse when you feel like their products are unique. The R.A.T 7 is one of the most customisable mouses out there, it has three interchangeable palm rests, and three pinkie rests, personally I find having the grip palm rest gives me best results when pwning noobs.

REVIEW: Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Albino gaming mouse

Tech Digest
24 January 2011
  • Summary: It takes some tweaking, but once you’ve got the R.A.T 7 Albino to fit your playing style, you’ll find this flexible, responsive pointer gives you a real edge over the competition. The new white finish is stunning in our books, and that fact that this improved model ships for the same price as last year’s original R.A.T 7 just sweetens the deal.

13 January 2011
  • Excerpt: 8 Flares 8 Flares × There comes a time in every man’s life when he has to upgrade to a quality mouse. Thankfully, there are no shortage of killer products on the market from the likes of Steelseries, Razer, Roccat and even Microsoft. You would not immediately assume that mass market purveyor of distinctly forgettable peripherals ‘ Mad Catz’ would be on this shortlist, but if the Cyborg R.A.T.

Cyborg Gaming R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse Review

Hardware Canucks
2 August 2010
  • Excerpt: The gaming peripheral market may be a cluttered space but truly innovative solutions seem to be hard to come by. Some companies have gone the old-school route by releasing gamepads for games like Street Fighter while others take nothing but tentative steps towards innovation. However, there really hasn’t been much forward movement in this sector since most customers are more than happy enough with slight modifications to ages-old designs. That’s all about to change.

Saitek Cyborg R.A.T.7

16 November 2010
