stopped working after year

Catherine Blankenship, Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: This is an expensive piece of junk. After one year of very lite use this piece of garbage started freezing then died. Way too expensive and poorly designed. If you want loyal happy customers take this garbage off the shelf and try to preserve your reputation.

Good Until it Died

Kevin M Goodsell, Amazon
11 December 2011
  • Summary: The R.A.T. 5 mouse was generally quite nice at first. I didn't use it for anything fancy, and it never left by desk. But after three months of light use, the tracking completely crapped out. The pointer doesn't respond to mouse movements at all. I tested on multiple surfaces, and multiple computers. It seems that the laser or sensor died. LEDs and buttons (as far as I can tell) still work fine. The manufacturer failed to respond to my request for support.

Died in less than a month.

michael "The Tech Guy", Amazon
20 October 2011
  • Summary: I purchased the mouse thinking that the bad reviews on here would be proven wrong. Well, as it turns out, all the negative reviews about this mouse such as an early death, and bad traction and an overall bad mouse have been true. The mouse laser is horrible and the quality of the mouse as a working piece of equipment is horrible. The laser just stopped working, and I have just been using it for playing simple games and surfing the internet.

very disappointed

Harrison Logan, Amazon
20 August 2011
  • Summary: I'm very upset with this mouse. I received it promptly from Amazon which is fantastic. A few days later though the mouse scroll wheel broke and became unresponsive. It took three days to get in contact with the manufacturer, and that's when they told me it would probably take over 2 Weeks to get a replacement. Overall the mouse was comfortable but breaking in the first week is inexcusable.

Solid gaming mouse...Not, not even a year and left click broken -.-

Whistler, Amazon
10 April 2013
  • Summary: -Now- Not even a year and the product is buggered, left click has become completely unresponsive and I've treated cheap mouses poorly that still performed better than this after plenty of use. Absoloutely gutted, pretty much a rip off considering how easy it can break (seriously just look up rat7 gaming mouse problems). -When I first bought it- Pretty good, however it does have it's faults.

Google to see issues for yourself

Proalan "Real Deal Reviewer", Amazon
14 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought this as a replacement for a RAT 5 which suffered sporadic tracking problems. I thought I was unlucky and received a one off faulty product however the RAT 7 suffers the same problems the tracking can stutter, the mouse cursor can move randomly to no move at all. Just a quick google search reveals that this is not a one off issue as many people have reported the same problems.
